  1. That is very true but rest assured there won't be any pics of Jim's kit to mislead buyers. Many of us from the Jimmi Build Group have reported the buyer to eBay.
  2. That kit will be gone soon. It has been reported to eBay. The armour you see in the pic is Jimmiroquai's kit...and it's actually Jim in the pic, in his house!!!! The pic of the armour pieces laid out is Jim's first gen kit and not the result of a 'pep' build.
  3. Look up foam/rubber pipe insulation. It's what I used in mine.
  4. G'day from Sydney! Will be great to have another member of the First Order onboard. I'll be starting my Jimmi build in a few weeks. I've seen troopers approved with the Anovos Standard bucket. It's what I have though I'm modding it with new lenses and a new aerator. Not to mention making the inside more wearable. All the best with your journey to the First Order [emoji16]
  5. There should be a LWB (Little White Bag) headed your way on Monday [emoji106] I'll be in touch soon!
  6. Never had time for maths. I just buy a bigger battery [emoji12]
  7. Here's what I got... 2600Mah / 1A 1 Fan - 3h 45m 2 Fans - 1h 20m 3 Fans - 50m Like I said, not all batteries are created equal!
  8. Nice tutorial You did well to get 2.5hrs for two fans from a 2600mAh power bank. I only get about 1.25hrs. Just goes to show not all power banks are created equal.
  9. Look forward to following your thread! Exciting times ahead [emoji16]
  10. Great effort! Look forward to seeing this take shape.
  11. Will do! I'm getting the parts from Vader Painter Studios... https://www.facebook.com/VaderPainter-Studios-104963979653289/
  12. Great work! I've done much the same. I'm just about to swap out the lenses and replace the aerators with a machined aluminium one and then I think I'm done...apart from figuring out the best location for hearing assist mics.
  13. Great idea! Found plenty of similar options on eBay too.
  14. I think a good stiff drink is your first step [emoji16] And then review some of the excellent TFA Build threads on here. All the best with the build - look forward to seeing it come to life.

  16. You can see from the studio locker room pic all gaskets were integrated... Safe to say this is canon but they would have been fitted to the talent in advance prior to final build. The cloth gaskets sold now offer the flexibility to be tailored to the individual before fitting and, like you say, can also be removed and washed. This is a new offering out of the U.K. by Fantasy Designs - a nicely integrated ribbed shirt. Cuts down strapping etc.
  17. You might also want to consider the gaskets being produced by FNArmour. A lot of troopers have been snapping them up in recent weeks and are raving about them. They're US$100.00 incl. free shipping - up to one month delivery - or additional US$59.00 expedited shipping.
  18. Chris Hale (Ontario CA) on Facebook would probably be your HWT Vest go to man. Believe is on The RPF too. Let me know if I can assist with a SA belt kit (shameless, I know) I believe IB run to size - mine do!
  19. Is it like this one? If Sir passes I would happily discuss shipping to AU.
  20. Looks like the gaskets are dropping for a lot of troopers today.
  21. Just awesome mate! You're having way too much fun [emoji16]
