  1. Aussie troopers represent! [emoji106]
  2. Pic sent via email. All the best!
  3. How cool is this! Marine Matthew Callahan served in Operation: Enduring Freedom, and now he's processing his experience with a new creative outlet. He recreates the actual experiences he accrued during the war as both a soldier and eventually a combat correspondent, using Star Wars toys to make artful photographs. Here's a behind the scenes video: https://vimeo.com/164726039 Enjoy! JAFO
  4. Great work! Really coming along.
  5. Are you happy to receive a message from a trooper in the making (i.e. No full kit yet) I'd make sure it was suitably cool [emoji16]
  6. I first used JAFO as my CB handle when I was a teen. Its origins are in the military but I discovered it watching 'Blue Thunder'. Its meaning (Just Another F****ing Observer) is a perfect fit for forums, though I try to be more of a participant than an observer.
  7. As you know, there is a supplier - FNArmor - but there is a lot of discussion about that vendor at the moment. Who knows how it will turn out. Other than that I haven't seen much else reported. There appear to be some local providers but that will require some digging. I supply FO Belt Kits and most purchasers so far have Jim's kit, which seems to suggest there's not much else out there.
  8. Great video [emoji106]
  9. If you're looking for TFA FO parts there's a comprehensive list of providers here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/34166-first-order-stormtrooper-resource-guide/
  10. Terrific thread! Thanks for the updates [emoji106]
  11. One thing is for sure, the belt in the seller's pic isn't accurate!
  12. Not sure why that would be. You can find lots of info about this armour on FISD. Look up Jimmiroquai on the forum threads.
  13. Great innovation! I love creative workaround solutions. Nice work.
  14. Here's a great starting place for all things FO: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/34166-first-order-stormtrooper-resource-guide/ You can find lots of threads on Jimm's kit - it's getting lots of props! Best of luck with your FO journey!
  15. Have followed the same route with my FOTK Bucket. The cylinder power banks fit snugly inside and they're lighter than the AA battery packs.
  16. Ukswrath delivers the goods for sure!
  17. About £6 would buy you 5v fans and two 4xAA battery packs with on/off switch on eBay. Easy to wire together and effective enough for airflow. I did this in my bucket and I'm happy with the results. BUT...I am about to do a mod using power banks - not because I need to but because I'm intrigued!
  18. That's awesome! Let me know if I can help you with a TFA FOTK BELT.
  19. Great diagram - very helpful. Thanks. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. I'll be doing this with my son soon and I've come to the conclusion that I-III will serve no purpose in his enjoyment of the saga. If he wants to watch them at some point, great, but they won't form part of his introduction.
  21. I have the Dowco 59001-00. Bought via eBay. Great bag and very well priced.
  22. Great thread! I'm going to update my FOTK bucket configuration to use a power bank, or two. Even two lipsticks to run each fan will be lighter and more streamlined than my current two 4xAA box config. Out of interest, which splitters did you use? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. At least with the iTunes Digital Copy there were 7 deleted scenes. Still not much to write home about. Perhaps the 3D Blu-ray release later this year will offer more.
