  1. Thanks for a great read [emoji106]
  2. Terrific work! Looks fantastic [emoji106]
  3. Check out steamboatphan's Jimmi build under the Costume Build/TFA build. Evin was recently approved. It's s great thread!
  4. FOTKs. You'll find a couple of build threads on here where troopers have successfully combined Anovos and Jimmi. Also, if you're on Facebook you can seek access to the Jimmi build group/thread. REALLY USEFUL! Look up Jimmiroquai's FOTK Armor Building.
  5. It's great there is now a cheaper option. Have you figured out what your import/duty charges might come to? They can add up
  6. Very cool discovery
  7. The images on the Amazon pages are of the Anovos Standard ($180) and Premier ($350) helmets. They are pretty bad cut 'n paste images so I wouldn't trust what I can't see. If you want an Anovos bucket buy from Anovos - or a reputable dealer - only! You mention fibreglass parts - are you getting Jimmi's kit? If so, there haven been 501st approvals using the Standard Anovos and Jimmi kit combo. Ultimately it will come down to how you finish your armour.
  8. Great start, Brian! Look forward to following your build
  9. As far as we know the only difference between the two kits is no helmet or boots supplied with the Standard (due in August). We can only assume the armour will be the same quality. The Premier Line helmet runs at $600 on its own. Boots are around $150 delivered from IB. Can we assume a standard kit will run $1200-$1500? If so, I personally would be waiting on that and buying a Standard bucket. I've heard a fair few stories of people who prefer to troop in the Standard helmet ($250) vs the heavier/hotter Premier Line. After all this you also need to keep in mind expected vs actual delivery dates, and costs of shipping/customs. Just my two cents [emoji16]

    Nice build!
  11. SENSATIONAL!!!! Congrats on the approval. Your passion to the build has been rewarded!
  12. FNArmour...Your cloth gaskets are getting a lot of positive talk on the forums. I just ordered a set myself [emoji16]
  13. I can highly recommend the gloves made by Imperial Boots. Just awesome! Let me know if I can assist with a screen accurate belt kit [emoji106]
  14. An idea for the pouches...like you I used foam to give them shape and form but I also created pocket walls (and base) using very stiff cardboard. Might be good for your 'practical' pouch for phone, etc.
  15. Hi there! Do you know if you want to go with rubber or cloth?
  16. And that's before any additional custom/import charges!
  17. If powering both 5v fans off one power bank make sure the output is 1.5A or over. Here's what I built. Will either run with the very small 10000Mah power bank in the pic, or something similar to the AUKEY 5000 that I have on order.
  18. A lot of people seem to like the AUKEY 5000.
  19. Do you mean a power bank? If so, where are you installing the power bank - body or helmet?
  20. You might as well get it shipped to someone you know in the US, buy a cheap return ticket, go pick it up and have a holiday in the process. [emoji16]
  21. They don't but there are ways around that [emoji51]
  22. And that neck seal looks fairly screen accurate.
  23. For a lazy AUD3000.00 that's quite a kit! If delivering Sept 2016 I wonder if that means they'll deliver just in time for Episode VII [emoji12] Good to see they've finally been announced.
