No, they wear them just the same as any other trooper.

Besides the paint job, the only difference in the armor is that the butt plate and kidney plate are fueled together (like RotJ).

I am not getting any armor any time soon, just the helmet. Thanks! Don't worry about the return edges. Though they give the armor an appearance of thickness, they are not necessary.
