  1. unique canes blaster build from sterling... http://yhst-5672966975550.stores.yahoo.net/swste11.html "Stormtrooper Blaster is full length and weight utilizing all metal parts. The selector switch works, the trigger assembly works, and folding metal stock works. The receiver is solid metal with no moving parts. The Dummy Magazine Shell is not functional and is removable from the housing with the release button. The Stock works perfectly and swings out to lock into the spring loaded butt cap, folds under and locks into place. The Actuator Handle is welded in place for realism. This is the Original Sterling SMG Dummy SMG!"
  2. ... it would be nice to have pinned areas for newbees like me... I feel like a dog chasing it's tail...
  3. Thanks Mathias!
  4. Does TM offer bucket only kit? If this is in the wrong place to ask please remove.
  5. Both set of plans are printing at 5.25 width and my sterling and 1.5 inch pipe are 4.75 diameter, so something is off.. I printed actual size etc?? and the 8 inch mark, lines up. no problems. This is the same issue Gazmosis had in the original post - think I'm going in circles.
  6. All dimensions seem to be the same except for the ejector port. which ones are correct for a pipe build. (Geoff (left) PVC Aaron (right)
  7. So the PVC plans where ejector port drill dimensions are both "9/32 - this is correct. The older set of plans has one of the drill dimensions as "1/8 - not correct.
  8. Here? http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/32111-fisd-e-11-blaster-reference/
  9. Hi Vern, How is this tube legal to use with original bolt/parts?
  10. This is great!! Although the ejector port (9/32 & 1/8 drill marks) on the Geoff Allen plans looks a bit small compared to my sterling. Please confirm I'm not crazy. cheers.
  11. What I've observed... The bottom, non-visible areas of the armor: forearms (wrist), bicep (elbow), shins (ankles), the return edges have been removed, excluding shoulder bells. In contrast to the upper areas of each piece, a return edge is present in most cases. 5-10mm. I agree It's nice to have some edges because it gives the armor depth and thickness.
  12. "carldesign" awaiting amazon's delivery on Tuesday!
  13. You can buy both auto and semi-auto trigger assembly on apex guns - sold out though. I ground down my sear on my original, so now it's not functional either way. For the display, I'm planning on assembling the parts onto a solid core aluminum rod to act as a skeletal frame. The bar will help align the parts kit so it will appear fully assembled but ultimately still a parts kits. Maybe lightly glued with e6000 in some spots. Just an idea at this point.
  14. Well!? The conclusion.. it's not very practical (weight) or easy (legal) to create a 100% all parts sterling blaster without some blow back and potential criminal charges. The closest thing, per Vern's suggestion, is a Bapty build. If it was good enough for Lucas - right? No moving parts. no trigger, solid core of aluminum. Fortunately for me, I stumbled upon a parts kit unique in every aspect. Imported over a decade ago, saw cut, original finish, 0% rust and A+ condition. In order to gain a different perspective on the subject, I Joined uzitalk.com's Sterlings/SMG section, to see what their community had to say. The reaction was unanimous "Dummy Gun? why are you not building a legal semi auto out if it" or offers to buy pieces of my kit. In the interim, I've decided to build a display blaster out of it... and if I move to a more gun/tax friendly state in the near future (thinking hard), I may convert it to a real semi-auto. Regardless, I'm still in need of a blaster to complete my EIB and centurion.. so I've ordered some stand alone sterling parts from apex (ready install stock, screws, breach grip) and purchased doopydoos pipe build ( Looking to pick up Dday's esb kit as well when there avalable) to create the ultimate hybrid steel/aluminum/resin blaster for my day to day trooping. To be continued...
  15. did you make your deadline?
  16. Looks good, although the butt snaps are in the the wrong position. They should be placed here...
  17. Veedox's neck seal is awesome. Just got mine today. Professional craftsmanship. Bravo!!
  18. Nice job man!! I'll be following this thread, when I get my kit in the coming future.

  20. My parts kit is still intact... If you would like to ask questions regarding Aaron's "E11 Pipe Build" post here. Thanks in advance. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/26960-e-11-steel-pipe-build/
