1. IIRC there are a few webpages all under like TKarmor.com that sell the TKUK kit. Another seller of the TKUK kit is Stormtroopercity.com There was a guy that was trying to sell it here a while back and got chased off when people were pointing out it was just an FX recast. Apparently they have released a new "kit" I'm just wondering who they recast off as I'm not nearly good enough at identifying kits.
2. Just from the one picture there is one thing I can suggest. See the two rides (circled in blue and red) those should line up. Basically the edge that is circled in blue should run straight into the one circled in blue, it should be basically a single seam if that makes sense. It's not necessary to have it lined up for approval (reading the CRL says it's only needed for EIB) but by having them line up it should move the top of the knee plate away from the shin. It might not fix it totally but it should be a start. Pictures are the best way to get help. I know for me more than a few times I was posting up pictures with questions during my build. (For inserting a picture from Photobucket, click the "image" icon in the reply box bar and copy in the direct link off of the Photobucket "share this photo" section)
3. Are you able to take any pictures of the shin piece while you are wearing it? After it's twisted? Having a visual will make it easier for us here to give some advice.
4. Not only that, how on earth are you supposed to add the brow trim?
5. Yarp, on the side I had a set of snap pliers, they didn't seem to work so well. The post and block seemed to work better IMO. Side note, I'm thinking of signing up on the Badlands Garrison website...I'm not too far away from Calgary...
6. IIRC it's the way the board is set up. I think you have to ask for status once a year or so.
7. Also try rotating the post a bit when you are hammering if that makes sense.
8. You need 501st access to view it, as well as have a approved TK/TD.
9. What snap tool were you using? I just used the snap setting set (base, metal punch looking thing and hammer) and it worked great. Well after I found out that using a phillips screwdriver to split the snap post a little bit first.
10. Been gone for a while, but I come back and it looks like it's all starting to come together.
11. The TKUK stuff is also being sold here https://stormtroopercity.com/ . It's pretty hilarious as a guy was posting on here advertising it, got called out for it being an FX recast. He then vehemently denied it being an FX recast, but now on that site they are apparently making (which im thinking is safe to assume recasting someone else's kit) new moulds as some of their pieces "looked like" FX. Edit: The TKUK maker is mentioned under the why choose us section.
12. True, you do have an approved kit in the meantime so it's no rush. iirc from what Ive heard (and take this with a grain of salt as I don't know much on fett) lots of parts are hard to find and or long waits so it will give you lots of time to save.
13. Good lord I don't think that's any cheaper....lol
14. Not sure would have to ask someone that has a FO TK. Just from the posts I've seen it sounds like it's substantially more expensive. You could pm Jimmiraquois on here and find out how much his kits are.
15. Rofl
I've missed a bunch this last month (been away and only have my phone).
16. Well to be fair if you are saving up a TK, you will have to save a lot less for an OT the TFA. Since it is substantially "cheaper" you will have it that much faster.
17. Thanks for the kind words! I'm glad I was able to help. If I'm to be honest seeing your updates all the time lit the fire under my backside to get everything completed haha
18. Oh I just saw that...congrats lol. I'm browsing on my phone atm as I'm on vacation atm and the phone browser version sucks..

That's my excuse and I'm sticking too it.
