The new kits come with the same tubing used as onscreen (extruded grey ABS) pipe. Also, the parts will be done in PVC glossy plastic. Some benefits to these new kits: Thinner wall design (dead on screen accurate) Plastic tubing is imported from England (the real deal) End caps can be removed easier (slide off if necessary for storage, clip adjustments, or repairs) PVC end caps are more durable than ABS and won't tear as easily No paint is required for any of the parts Faster assembly and turnaround Lower cost (on fully assembled kits) Price is yet to be determined. There was a place in Canada that I ordered a custom plastic case for my AT-AT model... I'll have to look them up. Same edges as the MR case.

I have that same orange pauldron... was thinking of selling it. Never used it, can't afford a second suit to go TD anymore.

No, I used a piece of neck-trim ... and some buffing compound. Any excess was rubbed off with a micro fiber cloth.

I can't get a response from the RS prop guys on my belt. Until I receive my belt the suit remains unfinished. I sure I will get it someday, but ... a response would be nice.
