  1. Amazing, I use foam a lot for cosplay I'd definitely like to try this out
  2. Awesome work , Where did you get the kit?
  3. Dude you are a god, It was your build I was talking about earlier, stunning.
  4. The Tips are Hovi Mix Pa2 they just weren't to my liking I studied Keith's and Sskunky's and tried my damnedest to get them looking like theirs. I'll post pics when I get home. Also I have a bunch of accessories slated to arrive today if stuff starts showing up I'll post that too I got a photobucket account and I'll use that as not to waste space on my attachments.
  5. I'm probably going to have to put on the breaks buying stuff for a bit... I just checked my credit card balance lol
  6. I'm in total agreement. This is what I'm aiming for out of the gates. The best thing you can do is not rush into anything without doing some diligent browsing. Take a breath and take it slowly focus on one aspect of your build at a time. I've found it helps if you zero in on one aspect of the suit at a time for instance for me I spend each week looking at maybe one or two small things, looking on the corresponding place in the forums to see what other troopers have done. i.e this week it was boots. First I went to the Boots, Soft Parts and Other Accessories Forum (http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/42-boots-soft-parts-and-other-accessories/) browsed a bit and saw what other troops have been doing and weighed the pros and cons. I thought if I buy new boots from TK Boots or Imperial boots I'll have to spend more and wait a lot longer and I'll have to scuff up really nice expensive kicks to get my scuffy look. I asked around on the forum and I got some great advice. I was told what boots look the best for the price with faster shipping and even how to paint them to look like I wanted. From there I had a starting point to start bargain hunting for the right product. That's just one example, but I think if you maybe deconstruct the build it may be more manageable and less stressful for you. Just know we're all in this together bro, and you have a great support network for pretty much any hang up you come across. Hang in there, good luck and have fun!
  7. I bought my boots today through Shoeme.ca today-------------. There is a promotion going on for 20-25% off that is ending on the 30th of September. For the sale price you can get a pair of these for 109 CAD with is less than what you'll pay on amazon.com (in US can cost you upwards of 80 dollars). With the promotion I got mine after taxes and free shipping for 92 bucks CAD which is around 63 US. If you need boots and want to DIY to make them look scuffed and rugged like it requires for EIB-Centurion Jump on this deal my Canadian brethren!
  8. Ok for the mic tips I needed to cut the vents that separate the bottom from the top portion. I needed to cut, file and polish between those 4 posts and insert the innards. It's not a multiple piece construction like Keith's or any of the other high quality mic tips. As for my boots I got them for 92 bucks Canadian (around 62 USD) with a sale voucher on Shoeme.ca. decent deal considering on Amazon.com my size (13 US) was 65 US plus shipping and taxes outside the US. All in all 85.92 US (113 CAD) (they don't have any on Amazon.ca). I'd say check it out. http://www.shoeme.ca/products/bass-men-amsterdam-black-range-calf enter FALL20 for 20% off, FALL25 (until tomorrow) for 25% off
  9. Bass Amsterdam Ankle boots ordered!!!!! Shout out to Vern Beezer or Bondsrvnt for steering me in the right direction
  10. Congratulations on the little Skywalker! Good luck! When you're ready to have at it again I will also be following this closely. My Fiance also wants a set of the legacy armour. She's rather chesty so I don't know how well a regular TK will fit... hopefully by the time that build rolls around I'll have mine finished.
  11. Mic tips, cut, sanded, polished, insides inserted, screws installed pics to come.
  12. Liking the camelback idea. I've seen a lot of cool stuff other troopers on here have been installing on their TK's. This may be the opposite of hydration but I may make my dropboxes function and put a little flask in there lol.
  13. I'm going to have to check this out tons left hopefully I can get my birthday or some important historical date.
  14. In my life time there is not only going to be one build I can count on that. I still would love to do a Scout, Shadow and Snowtrooper eventually. Plenty of time to upgrade.
  15. I PM'd you Adam, I wish I could be of more help.
  16. I donno man you might be walking down a dangerous path , I know how you feel though I want to DIY as much as I can to real get the whole experience
  17. Also the tear drops and trapezoids on the helmet need to be bluish decals any places other than trooperbay you can find these?
  18. LOL I have this window up literally all day while I'm righting out project plans, research and video/graphics editing when someone walks up I need to close the window. like every few minutes. Are we long lost brothers or something!? We're doing the same things I bought a bunch of stuff at once as you already know.
  19. saw some decent stuff, may go with the 2 piece option
  20. Neck seal and handguards should be arriving soon!
  21. Looking forward to my ESB hand guards and Tkittell belt though!
  22. I made the mistake of ordering them on ebay... Lesson learned. They look fine but I need to DIY them to look more authentic. So inevitable they will be my mic tips.... sigh. They look like casts from Mark from CFO so if anyone deserves props it's him, I saw the bs he was getting on the RPF forums after I bought them and now I feel like a real goof. Live and Learn. I'm going to order from Keith, Sskunky or Vaj for the real deal in due time.
