    When I did my side shims I brought a sheet of white abs from the model shop for 99p and it was very close to my armour colour, so this really is a cheap mod to do people

    Im waiting for the snow to fall as im sure Mark (firebladejedi) will be sliding down some hill on his armour to add to the weathering

    THe only sure way is to have it painted a nasty bright colour. Ive had blasters through in the normal colour, but I guess its a little bit of luck involved also

    Ive owned 2 sets and 2 hero helmets, one of them had a few imperfections in it, so I picked all the good bits for my TK and the less good bits went onto my sandtrooper. I did notice it can come thin in some places, which isnt good. I love it though, its a really nice armour just damn pricey

    I just wish 100% someone would point me to a picture that will get me 501st and EIB acces and then IL load the spary gun, im abit nervous as were talking about £1500 worth of SDS I dont want to mess up and get wrong <_<

    So we can get Expert Infantry status in Stunt helmets aswell, this would be my prefered helmt style anyway as I hate bubble lenses

    So will the EIB standard be allowed for 501st clearance Im sure it is, I would wanto go for EIB in mine

    Re-guarding helmet, is it Hero or stunt as Ive seen both mentioned? I would prefer to take the bubble lenses out of my helmet as the flat green are easier to see through It says stunt in the first post so possibly would have to cut anouther tooth in my bucket to

    Our deputy GML posted up some pics of the Commander that is supposed to be the 501st accepetd style and it was basically the same as the slide show varient. This is abit worrying if your saying its supposed to be different as im about to spray a SDS set of armour

    Great job love the paint chips, did you under coat it a different colour and then use liquid masking? It does say it is supposed to be a hero helmet, so im assuming its the hero number of teeth and bubble lenses? I dont think anything is that set in stone so it possibly will be ok mate.

    Cool Mark atleast there will be 2 of us , I ordered 8 pots of paint as I have no idea how much im going to use. So its quite possible Il have loads left over for yours Il keep you informed

    Can someone confirm it is clearable to make a stormtrooper commander out of an ANH hero armour set up, or does it need to be ROTJ armour? Cheers

    I used nothing but plastic weld on my 2 TK's, needs a thin coat on both surfaces and then anouter dribble and then clamped tight for a couple of hours for best results

    I dont know about triangle feet <_< But what I can tell you is they do seem big in size, I brought a pair a size smaller than i usually take and there still loose Personally id go chelsea boots and paint them next time. More accurate and alot cheaper

    Cool bits mate, I was wanting a grappling hook set up like that but missed all the runs RE-guarding the scope mount I have 3 of these scopes and the mount simply unscrews once you un pop the spring.

    Ive just said it over on the MEPD but dude your boys TK is AWESOME was a pleasure to have my picture taken with him even if it was when in my Scout armour. Thanks Daetrin we are a good looking bunch especially us Scouts Marcel

    I only have industrial velcro on my shoulder bridges, as i found it plucked my undersuit like crazy any where else. Poppers all the way for me

    I use the cool max balaclava and my head stays fairly cool, I always wear it. Handy for clippng my flat mic to aswell

    I always wear a balaclava to catch the sweat
