I would be interested in the hand guards dude

My armour has 20mm machine screws (slot tapered head) and nuts holding on the ammo box on the thigh and also the knee part on the shin and the ears on my bucket. I used 4mm rivets else where and matching 4mm washers for the rivets mate. The washers are normally boxed up near to where the washers hang. Well they do in my local shops anyway dude

My clip is just a pice of heated up abs and bent into a clip shape, If you look down at the request elite page and look on my application, someone has put on there about making clips mate

Got to paint them buttons dude The Humbrol grey colour has changed and is now lighter. I had to dab in a bit of black to correct the colour in my tin We have the Humbrol here in the UK, but I think the guys over th pond have a different brand of paint that is better

I used industrial velcro front and back and a popper in the middle into a 2" webbing strap that holds both chest and back, bridges are just cosmetic really now

Thermal Detonator shortened a bit

I think your right mate looking at the pictures, Im gunna loose about the width of the cap off each end I recon. Dont know about the dremmel, the hack saw will chew through that quicker LOL!!!

Looking at the screen shots it does look like I could loose maybe 1.5" off of mine <_<

You get these pics and more in a little manual he sends out with the armour, with a history of it all. If it be true or not I dont know <_<

I have 2 made by AA at SDS, they both are 8.5" long. Just wanted to know how long are the majority <_< Its just Ive been told maybe mine is too long.

No they cant be seen when the chest is on mate, and armoured up none of the strap system can be seen. The reason I did it this way is the poppers are on 6mm high blocks. Which in turn gives the lip on the chest plate something to hit against to stop the chest moving upwards, so not just relying on the poppers as I have quite a big chest. I tried it on the inside (the back is done that way) but prefered this way, it works best for me. I feel more secure like that.

No Mark it didnt, it comes with velcro which is really pants as it has the spikey stuff pointing inwards and ruins your undersuit. I re-strapped the lot with webbing and poppers. The bit in the picture holds the chest down tight to the Abb, I have the same on the back, which stops the back riding over the kidney plate Marcel p.s recognise the flash belt in the pics mate

Out of interest guys, how long are your Thermal detonators . Mine measures 8.5" end to end, just wanted to know if mine needs trimming

If I can get away with leaving my TD the way it is I will. As Im afraid ali might scatch the armour, and how I have it, it clips over the belt and is velcroed to the armour aswell to stop little fingers making it go walkies without me knowing

Is the length ok?

The Detonator is how it came from AA at SDS. Its attached with a bent piece of ABS I will get a pic of that in a bit. It measures 8.5" end to end. Is this too big then? Cheers
