  1. After owing an Anovos Original Trilogy Stormtrooper for two years, and reading how happy everyone is with AM, I decided to sell the Anovos TK to fund a new set of armor. I recently placed an order with Dave's Dark Side Depot. Hopefully the kit will arrive soon, but in the meantime, I have been catching up on other AM builds. My intention is to build it to Centurion. I am looking forward to another armor building journey, and will post pics as I progress. This will be an interesting time, as I will also be working on a Tusken Raider simultaneously. Long live the Empire..... Armor: AM 4.5 (On Hand) Boots: Imperial Boots (On Hand) Neck Seal: Darman Props (On Hand) Holster: Darman Props (On Hand) Belt: Imperial Issue (On Hand) Thermal Detonator Clips: Ukswrath (On Hand) E-11 Blaster: Praetorian Blasters (On Hand)
  2. Good luck to these last few troopers. It is quite the milestone!
  3. While I like the patch, this is the best part of the video: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. That is absolutely fantastic. I cannot wait to add a few of those to my little patch collection. Congratulations to all involved in this, especially to the first 1000 EIB when we hit the milestone.
  5. Very cool stool. I have the same one. Looking forward to seeing your armor take shape. Soon you will be part of the Central California Garrison.
  6. I was actually just on YouTube hunting it down. I'll be sure to share the link when I find it.
  7. I remember as I was getting my kit ready for EIB, I found a video on youtube with @Sly11, and @ukswrath going over an EIB submission. I'm assuming it was during last Celebration in Anaheim. For you guys that are pushing for the last few spots to 1000 EIB, it is a great informative video on what is needed. I highly recommend checking it out.
  8. Welcome Paul. You will not be disappointed in those boots. Good luck on your build.
  9. Welcome to the FISD. These boards are a great resource, and I’m sure you’ll find all the information you need for a build. If you get stuck there are lots of helpful troopers ready to give advice or tips. Good luck and have fun.
  10. I don't know where you are in your build, but it is a goal to aim for.
  11. I saw a video posted by Daves Darkside Depot on Facebook where he shows how to trim the tops of thighs using a string and a pencil. He holds the string at the edge of the armor and pulls the pencil to where he wants it trimmed and follows the contour of the top of the thigh. I hope this description is helpful. I can try to find the link and post it here.
  12. This is getting exciting. I remember when I first joined, and reading up on the March to 1000. C'mon people get those apps in.
  13. At my first troop I didn’t have a blaster. A fellow garrison member had a spare one and let me use it. It’s kind of nice just holstering it and using it sparingly, as I find my shoulders get tired holding after a while. I’m sure you will figure a way to pose or stand until you get a blaster. 14. Welcome. I think its awesome that you and your dad are building together. It is definitely a fun journey. I hope you guys will build with Centurion in your sites.
  15. Hello and welcome. I am a fellow Anovos TK. I used Ukswraths build thread ALOT during my build, and it was an extremely valuable resource. Here is a link to an awesome video series on youtube from a 501st member from the Dune Sea Garrison: I found this to be equally helpful in building my kit, along with the build thread I mentioned above.
  16. It doesn’t have any identifying Model Numbers from what I can tell, but appears to be the same one you posted the link for. I used it to press my codpiece after sewing it together when I was building my Biker Scout. [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I actually bought my wife one of those for Christmas a few years back. She makes T-Shirt transfers on her Cricut machine, and uses that to attach it to the T-Shirt. She has yet to use it for making hats or mugs, but I think eventually shes going to give it a try. I'll try and look up the model number for you soon.
  18. Welcome, sir. I own a pair of Imperial Boots TK boots, and they are really comfortable. You will not be disappointed, if you decide to go through them.
  19. Here is a link that has a picture of one, along thigh a few other Star Wars mini helmets Riddell made. http://www.oohyeahzone.com/collection/collection1-wallcabinet.html The guy has a pretty impressive collection from many different films.
  20. Welcome. That helmet you're making reminds me of some pictures I have seen of the helmet Riddell made. That would be a cool thing to have in a helmet collection. Great work.
