  1. Welcome. Looks like you have some great information to start with.
  2. I ordered a size up. They feel good on my feet while trooping.
  3. Welcome to the FISD! Have fun doing your research.
  4. I will be going to the Balloon Races this year, and I am in the process of finding a family friendly room to stay in.
  5. Hello fellow and future troopers. I have been away a bit, due to me enrolling in online courses for college. I have decided to go back and earn a Bachelor's Degree in History. I had to do a ton of paperwork, and make lots of phone calls. I was accepted into a University out of Nebraska. I'm about 3 weeks into my first class, and feel that I have been in a decent groove balancing work, school, and everyday life. I'm looking forward to catching up on what has been going on here on the forums.
  6. In my humble opinion the Ab Plate buttons could use a little trimming. Great build though.
  7. Good morning everyone. I am going to start making mods to my armor to apply for Centurion and had a few questions. First, I know there should be no return edges at the wrist. One of my forearms has two ridges, while one has only one. I used the image from my EIB Certification for reference. Should I trim out the spot the arrow is pointing to? Next, I know there should be no seams where the shims are on my back plate. I was going to make an ABS paste and fill them, but I was able to purchase a spare backplate from another armor maker. My concern is the color between the two. I know it’s probably hard to tell in the picture, but do you think the colors are okay? Your thoughts and advice are greatly appreciated. 8. Congratulations on your approval. Welcome to the ranks.
  9. I will 3rd him LOL. Just received mine yesterday. Can’t wait to install it tomorrow.
  10. Great work so far. Will you be aiming for higher levels of accuracy? It’ll you are it adds very little time to the build and most changes are fairly simple, like adding the flexible hand guards. Good luck, and have fun on the build.
  11. I had luck gluing the front down first, then forcing the sides down with clamps and E-6000. It took two or three day of gluing but it worked.
  12. I’m a 6’2” and currently weigh 236. I was happy with the thickness after seeing it in person at a troop a few weeks ago. My Anovos is pretty thin.
  13. I’m late to this party, but I’m all caught up. Im looking to get an AM kit in the near future, so I’ll be watching this with great interest.
  14. Congratulations and welcome. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
