  1. Hello Troopers, I bought some Mic Tip mesh from Ukwrath. I was wondering how to remove the fine mesh that is currently in my tips right now. It seems to be in there pretty good. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Anovos Fine Hovi Tip Mesh Removal

I will most likely get a pair of those scissors. I saw a picture of a guys eye after he tried trimming the flashing with a Dremel. It wasn’t pretty. I don’t want to risk it with my Dremel.

Anovos Fine Hovi Tip Mesh Removal

Painted the inside of my Hovi tips white. I read you should apply a second coat within three hours or after forty eight to avoid wrinkling. Has anyone ever had a problem with that? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I cut mine with a soft wire cutter, while making minute cuts going in a circular direction. When I tried putting it in, and it did my quite fit, I just made more cuts in the spot that was having a hard time going in. The first one was a little difficult, but after it went in the second one was much easier.

    Hello from the UK

Welcome to the FISD. I love the Mando armor. Looking forward to see what you do with a TK.
  15. I recently received my Kittell belt this weekend, and I have begun disassembling the Anovos belt using Ukwraths Waist Belt Centurion section of his build thread. I managed to get the holster off, and one of my drop boxes, since it was already falling off. I started to drill out the old rivets. For some reason I can’t seem to get them off, but I will continue to try and do so. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Anovos Belt Conversion

Thanks Brien. I will continue work on these rivets. I hope to have the belt done within a few days.
  19. Congratulations on your recent approval and welcome to the Stormtrooper ranks. Perhaps you can start here: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/186-501st-and-detachment-access-requests/
  20. I am preparing to start work on taking my Anovos TK to EIB status. I was doing research to see if the helmet is EIB ready. I know I need to change the neck seal to the "S" type, and put screws in the bottom of the ears. I think all the decals are good. But my concern is the Mic tips. Are those good for EIB, or should they be changed out? Thanks in advance, Troopers.
  21. Work on converting my helmet is almost complete. I added four of the six screws in the ears. Two were too long, and a buddy of mine is bringing me a tool that I can use to cut them shorter, since they are the ones at the bottom of the ear, under the trim. Once that is done I will remove the mesh that I put in the mic tips and paint them white. Them I can move on to my belt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
