PistolPete's HWT Build Thread
magni replied to PistolPete's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
The best advice for you Pete is to head to the Advanced Tactics section and look up the approved AM Centurion photos. Between that and the CRL will get you going. Great choice with the HWT. Good Luck with your build! -

Undersuit & Balaclava for warm weather trooping
magni replied to Mikeyg's topic in Boots, Soft Parts, and other Accessories
I use Underarmor cold gear and heat gear. They work great for me here in New England. I've heard that cheap brands colors run and stain your armor. We once had a Trooper throw his top in the bin on his armor after a troop. And a week later when he opened it he found his chest plate stained black! With polish and a lot of elbow grease it came clean. Lesson learned, cheap is not always the same and don't store undersuit in bin on armor. -
Congratulations Glen! No Grinch on you! What's Santa really like?

Glad to hear you're interested in going HWT Phil. The pack is part of the set. You need it and everything else Paul said. Being a TK is great but being a HWT is awesome! Plus it gives you two costumes with one set of armor. Good Luck Phil and keep us posted.

Pull_and_Twist HWT Build
magni replied to Pull_and_Twist's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
I think you should lean to the grey side. That just looks to blue. From what I see. -
You don't sound lame. Just eager! Just make sure it's up there when it counts. You looking your best, makes Us look our best. Sent from my LGMS631 using Tapatalk

You don't hold front up with snaps in the ab and back of belt? Sent from my LGMS631 using Tapatalk

That looks good. That's what I use also. I use Novus #1 to wipe mine down. Does your belt normally sit that low? It should be right up on the button panel. Sent from my LGMS631 using Tapatalk

That's a great diagram! That's gonna help a lot of people. I would just add Tony's comment on size of oil pan preferences with an asterisk. Sent from my LGMS631 using Tapatalk

Thanks for noting that my pack conceals all mods and matches the CRL Tony. I planned my stuff from the start so it stays hidden. Only used at non canon events Con's/ hospital visits/ Etc.. My concern is added items after approval. I shouldn't talk I added the E-11 bracket after I saw Shawn's. But that does look good and gets the blaster out of the bin. My only defense is, we're HWT's the more weapons the better!

The main goal is that we look alike the best we can and follow the photo in the CRL. Which I've read is in the works to update with new photos to clearly show without confusion. I'm sure we've all noticed the sudden increase in popularity the costume is getting. Ironing this out now before it gets newbies going in the wrong direction thinking anything goes and getting disappointed later.

Great idea for the transport of your pack. And that bottom handle is genius! As for your pack mods, I agree with Tony. We need to keep continuity amongst ourselves. I think this is the second one I've seen that these changes are done after approval. That's not good since you've changed it after your GML seen it and it can harm your chance for EIB and Centurion. I feel partially to blame since Tony's usually referring to my pack with the lights and such. But if you look at my pack in my EIB it's not visible and pack conforms to standards. All my mods were built in from the start when my GML saw it for the first time. I have a dream that someday all of us get together as a mega squad of HWT'S and we all need to look alike to sell it! That is all....
Move along...

Welcome to the FISD Javi! Always happy to see another HWT in the making. Good Luck Future Trooper!

Cover strip widths for shins and thighs?
magni replied to Engineering trooper's topic in ANH (Stunt and Hero)
I went with 20mm in front and 25mm in back for both. -
TK-11369 Requesting ANH Stunt Centurion Status [RT-MOD] [294]
magni replied to TK11369's topic in Request Centurion Status
Glad to see another RT-MOD going for Centurion. Great looking set you have Reno! I see you closed that right thigh in at the bottom. You look great but to me they both still look big on you. If you walk great, cool. Just nothing looks worse then a knock knee'd Trooper. And just make a shorter strap to close that right side cause they'll definitely need you to close it up like your left side. Good Luck Reno! -
I'm speechless...

Bucket off

Thanks for keeping this on your radar Joseph. And for the patch run!
