  1. Pass!........................ ..NEXT!! Great job! Definitely a pass no problem. When you go for EIB Joseph will say tuck that belt a little higher and get them drop boxes out to edge of plastic belt. I won't say it! Well done Future Trooper!
  2. You'll be a Heavy before you know it. Looking foward to more progress!
  3. Welcome to the FISD Chris! Alan gave you the go-to spot to find your armor. My advice is check out the different brands and see what will fit your body size. The info is there and choosing the right set is important. A good way to see how it could look on you is check some applications in the Advanced Tactics section of the armor your interested in. The brand will be in bars like [ ]. Each applicant posts their height and weight. Good way to see how it fits on them and possible you. This is a great hobby! But not cheap. But when your finished the joy is priceless. There's plenty of great people here and in Florida so reach out and do some research and you'll be in the best suit you'll ever wear in no time. Good luck Future Trooper!
  4. Great job! Nice clean build! So...you made our job easier! See you on the field soon Trooper!
  5. From the talks for TKC CRL changes. I am understanding that overlap is required for level 3 if the armor brand supports it. Some brands don't have all the raised ridges allowing for it. So If you can do it. Do it. I used WTF and his is ANH style. So no overlap. But I achieved Centurion! I like to think that Centurion is more on how you present the best looking rendition of the Trooper you can. Not that you put some detail in the exact spot to the mm. Glad to see the recent influx of Commanders in progress. Last time I looked I believe there's only 60 in the Legion. So plenty of room to boss around some TK's!
  6. Great progress so far. Except for glove ripping Not sure if you're aware but belt is on the narrow side compared to the normal 3" width. Mine is 2 1/4" wide. Keep the updates coming Commander!
  7. Your fine with how they sit. Walt's ears run a little short so they wont go higher. You're doing good after the easy switch of ears. Could your brow trim be a little longer? It would be great to get it to end of trap but if you already trimmed it a bit short just make sure its spaced evenly. Walt's kit will be perfect for you. Just take your time study Crickets thread and ask any questions. Only dumb question is one not asked. Oh, and relax and enjoy the experience, it's only plastic! Keep up the good work!
  8. It's for the Empire! The Empire! Sent from my LGMS631 using Tapatalk
  9. Congratulations! Can you cover my shift!
  10. Looking foward to next video!
  11. As long as you didn't trim to much you should still be ok. If it's only missing by a little bit Figure what you need for a bigger coverstrip for the back. If it's a good size difference increase front up to say 20mm and see what you would need in back. Whatever size you do in front you should do same atleast for front of forearm to keep uniform look. Do a tape mock up with compression shirt on and post some photos so we can give you the best advice.
  12. Your shins in back look like they both close in same direction. The right one needs to close to the inside.
  13. Congratulations! Welcome to the 501st!!
  14. Congratulations! And Welcome to the clean side!
  15. Congratulations! Now go have fun out there!
  16. I like this. I wanted to add rivets on ab but didn't per CRL. As for your last recommendation I don't agree with lining up belt rivets and kidney coping picture that closely. Different thickness Troopers would have them way out of proportion. This is reminding me of troopers following that billgram to the mm for left side rivets only to find out armor is different brand and height and they placed in wrong spots. I tried to space mine by how far it looked coming off plastic belt in picture and did same distance off TD. No real measurements can be given with different size TK's. Just my thoughts Loving the updates to the EU!
  17. Hey Chris The blue should match the reference image the best you can. People have been doing Commanders for some years now. When I did my research in peoples build threads there was many different brands used. My first choice "Blue Angel" blue was about impossible to find. I ended up using Tamiya TS-15 blue. It's a nice deep blue. And Tamiya is perfect for plastic that flexes. Good Luck and look foward to seeing what you come up with!
  18. Heck yeah we can carry them!
  19. If he's home ypu can get a response in a day or two. If you sent it the day he leaves for work. Which is weeks at a time IIRC. You can sometimes think he isn't responding. Plus when he does get back he has to read and answer all emails, yours included. That can take a bit. Once I got him the couple back and forth chats were quick. I waited a bit. He does answer. The reward of having RT-MOD means you are a master at patience! Sent from my LGMS631 using Tapatalk
  20. It was the last time I knew. Did you retry later?
  21. Congratulations! You look incredible!
  22. Congratulations! Welcome to the 501st!
  23. Your backplate is sitting to far off your back. It looks like an Anovos back. You could use a hot water bath to help flatten the tops. And not noticed till now but it looks like your right calf has the closure going the wrong way. They should close to the inside. Yours are both going same way. Remove the coverstrip and add to outer half of calf. Getting there
  24. TK-21615 why aren't you at your post? Congratulations! Have fun out there!
