  1. please don't make this costume... it looks so very wrong. how many people are going to see this and say? Bad stormy costume. and then they will have to explain...
  2. heheheeee I actually found this funny!
  3. can you outline exactly which is where? the photos look interesting. can you give us your review between them? a set of descriptions per photo?
  4. found it. Interesting that they don't list the concept blaster instead of the e-11
  5. which detachment? I've been lookin!
  6. I can work with mark to order more ears. you should leave more plastic on.
  7. Actually if you read the header of the for sale section it explains clearly and I quote Please note when paying for any product and/or services: PayPal is always going to be a safe way to send any payment. However, you must understand never to send any payment via the "Gift" option for any product, work or services. PayPal will not cover any transaction under the "Gift" option at all. So, you will not have any recourse with PayPal if you have a problem with the person you are dealing with. It may cost you a few dollars more to send your payment under "Goods" or "Services", but in the long run it will cover you if you do have any problems arise with the transaction. NOTE: You have a 90 window with PayPal to file a dispute/claim. Never send cash and/or money orders. These can easily be lost and never the reach the proper person. Plus you have no record for any recourse.
  8. actually I'm located in america, so searching the UK site most likely is your own work you'll have to do. I personally don't like EBAY because the people selling armor on that site are not approved here. so it goes against our grain here to point out ebay auctions. impatience can lead to failure.
  9. each suit you list is in the UK and all want pickup. the first and 3rd suits describe damage just because a suit is painted does not make it screen style the 6 Hero suits were not painted. e.g. luke and han suits. I would not purchase any of these suits because of the design being wrong, damage, and just plain old waste of money. there are actually better suits available on the UK ebay listings. stay away from the large chestplate design you see in these suits. we all know that those are wrong. Don't waste your money on a bad costume. spend a little more time and research around here in the getting started section.
  10. I just clamp em on and the heat and pressure from the clamp distorts the area near the ridge. wonk on brothers! the sniper knee is not level on screen used suits so why worry so much. sometimes the DO tries to go farther than seen on screen DO's should never try to overdo it!
  11. Mark has helped me quite a lot in the last 4 years.
  12. Welcome here garland. the wait time on AP armor is probably the shortest around these parts. weather can sometimes delay shipments, and as you said he's trimming the kit for you. 6feet 3 inches is quite tall for a trooper, and you'll have longer distances between your thighs and ab/ cod plate and your back and kidney plates will also be taller. I have made many AP kits in my time, so please feel free to PM me anytime for advice! vern TK32392
  13. a loop within a loop inside a circle? sounds like a bowl of guesses! add milk... blue mlk
  14. perhaps it's a recast of the "maker of things" blaster?
  15. contact your local UKG they can help you firsthand. set up an armor party and have the experts give you hands on advice.
  16. sick photos! ;love those handguards THICK... can you hear me say it again THICK handguards baby HEAVY! see how they are curved, not flat! woo hoo!
  17. thanks clamps... you cleared it all up for me again! woo hoo! the way I drill out rivets is like this put the helmet in cold air put a cold rag inside on the base of the rivet slowly drill out with a variable speed drill on super slow. use a very small bit. when the rivet comes apart use pliars to remove it. to support your new holes glue some plastic signage to the inside of the cheek tube this will act as a plastic washer to support the lid! as I said before, I'd surely pass you, and if I were the DO you'd only have to have an armor party with UKG members who own an RS suit, then you can have help to sand the edges on your armor returns and get everything looking even better than you currently have it. my humor can be a little dry... heheheee replacing the faceplate would not be much trouble if you did have problems? you're close to RS? right? and you can always put 'for sale' sign plastic inside to support new holes. I have had to replace faceplates on some of the 20 plus AP builds I've done... it's not fun but it's worth it in the end! good luck.!
  18. sir. the helmet fix is an issue and I would get on that right away. your only flaws are return edges and your faceplate gap we all have to upgrade. it's the legion! but what do I kniow I'm only a 4 digit trooper
  19. I'd say you pass. construction: my only comments for improvement would be to check some of your return edges. the top of the back plate, and a few areas could be trimmed closer. And if I were you personally I'd purchase the following items to help you make this even better: New helmet faceplate- New helmet ears this way you could correct your helmet's construction error. I also would like to see the front forearm returns? fit: the chest to Ab straps might be tighter if you can. interesting interpretation of a very stunt style of wonkyness! I like it! but heck what do I know!@ me not the DO hehehe good luck!
  20. The alignment of the kidney plate sidegaps and belt line is screen accurate. everything does not always line up on the horizontal. in screen used armor there is a slight "sway back" to the whole picture.
  21. shoulder bridge lockdown at rear? looks like you have really long arms, so it might be harder to get everything looking any better! fits well.
