  1. sandpaper works to help even out the edge and round the shape so that it's not sharp.,
  2. wonky to the end of time!
  3. part of the admiration of the TK armor is it's human style sculpt. I would advise against mirroring, since the original helmets all have this wonky human aspect. making an idealized helmet has already been done... and when you look at it... after being in the hobby for a while it just does not look right! I vote for making the helmet look like the originals did!
  4. the videos in this thread come from the manufacturer. so the details most likely are finalized. when makers post videos in an airsoft company the tooling is already done.
  5. go AP after producing many of them and also making ATA they are both different in many subtle ways go AP?
  6. from the looks of the video he has a model intended for sale? perhaps this is the asahi? you would have to mod it quite a bit to make it look more L2A3 this is going to be a fun offering!
  7. the muzzle looks wrong... but this is a copy of the MGC canadian C1 the bolts around the barrel in front of the breech are accurate to the ROTJ version... but the muzzle would disqualify the model for ROTJ
  8. FX armor. guy on right has an MRCE lid
  9. It's because of the signatures.. he has a ton of original signed pages!
  10. take a large box and put a pvc pipe stand inside with duct tape on a ball of newspaper on top cut the box so it can lay flat cut some holes in the sides of the box... 2 holes per side 8 holes have some tape handy bring the box and lid inside to keep it warm at room temp. let the can be room temp. paint the primer on the lid in the garage on the stand inside the box. when you have completed the painting fold the box up and lightly tape it closed to keep the helmet insulated. throw a plastic bag over the top carefull to not be dusty. then insulate the box with a sleeping bag over the top. don't cover completely. after about an hour bring the box inside to let the primer cure at 70d you only need the box. keep it in a bathroom as that's usually the room that has a smaller airspace. when the primer cures, then you can do this over time to keep the helmet in the paintbox and transfer it from garage to bathroom as you paint. make sure that you don't touch the helmet for at least 4 days after painting the final coats.
  11. like lou says I like to work with people on blasters. from the DVH kit to the THG props kits I can and will help this project as well I can produce moulds and castings of original scopes and counters. I can sell the moulds to you if you'd like to offer those cast parts
  12. I dislike the hasbro because it is too difficult to make it look accurate. pipe builds can be hollow and have the right size and shapes. you will need the scope and counter which he sells on ebay then you will need the sight rail, T Tracks and some other parts that I offer Like the clip end and lock parts to dress up the clip assembly. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/22989-replacement-clip-end-and-lock/
  13. the clip end and lock are misssing... so most likely it's doopy but one of the pipe builds. it's almost the same cost as what I charge... power cells are also not exact... but they are there.
  14. great choice! congrats steve!

  16. not that bad looking... but one of the thighs looks strange at the top
  17. I put the fan in front on in a "diamond" shape right inside the center of the frown. pointing up.
  18. have you tried trimming the neck opening?
  19. understood brother! I love your website mike, without it I would not have been able to help out almost 30 troopers... and in the past we handled quite a few troops,,, must be at least 50 or more that you and I were both able to help.
  20. 50.00 would seem to me to be about the free shipping tier?
  21. Re: WT5001M02-28P another mp3/wav cheap sound module « Reply #4 on: February 28, 2013, 08:40:45 pm » If you store in SD card, the module only can support 16Kbps~320Kbps bit rate and 8KHz~44.1KHz sample rate MP3 and WAV file.
  22. flat rate seems not to be popular?
  23. i suggest an RF shield bag with a soft cover. this way it will be shielded against 2 things. first the RF shield bag on the inside keeps the electronics shielded from outside magnetic or power sources second the soft cover keeps the components from having no padding. leads from the "bag" could be heatshrunk allowing the bag to be replaced if needed. installed with velcro for easy removal.
