  1. there are a few little nit picks I could mention, but overall I'd say it's a pass!
  2. ERV has in the past been really hard to get product from. recently mathias let me know about his opening up his store and I purchased the basic blastercore 4.0 have not tested it, but it is here.
  3. it's a hasbro blaster...
  4. I personally use the method that rich is doing on all the limbs for armor builds. even to the point of cutting a special strip just for that exact join. then I cover the inside with white duct tape... looks sweet even on the inside!
  5. AA uses acetone and Abs mixed together like abs paste to glue the armor together. permanant bond. problem I've found is that it does not always coat evenly or bond correctly and can be patchy or even unglued at some points... I've used a brush to apply it and keep it in a metal container. I have gone back to e-6000 for it's flexible and removable aspects.
  6. this is exactly what I was going to suggest rotate outwards and raise up a little.
  7. I believe that if you tailor your armor to fit you can't lose!
  8. AP Lines are on the overlaps for a ROTJ style of build. on the shins, thighs and other parts you should follow the suggestions on peter/stukatrooper's build for making ANH stlye builds you first cut on the lines exactly. then take off a little on the fronts of the leg parts for the anh style. on the biceps and forearms, cut on the faint lines, and overlap them on your arms and biceps tape them together. and test fit them. then mark the centerline where the parts overlap cut off the overlaps to meet in the middle and glue with a backing strip. when assembling the thighs you align them from the top, and then trim the bottoms after they have been fitted together.
  9. a real sterling is only too heavy to troop with if you've got 9" forearms. anyone with mustard can carry a sterling on a troop, it's not the weight, it's the legal issues on all counts! even you have to make a special harness system to carry a 7 lbs metal tube in a holster.
  10. lame... false event just for april 1
  11. bazinga.. no signup? fools day joke?
  12. all I get is the bazinga button?
  13. neck measurement? looks like you're too large for screen accurate armor without heavy modification. most troopers in the film were 5' 7" =175-190lbs 6' 195lbs most likely you'd fit RT mod or Am
  14. I live in nor cal... how do I sign up? is this just april fools day stuff?
  15. just primer it 2x paint it flat black 2x and one coat of matte clear at the end.
  16. another centurion holster... your armor looks great!
  17. I just purchased from ebay for stuff... worked fine. 2 blasters more! with the base detailing kit you need a scope and a counter box... he also sells those.
  18. with your skills dan you will fly though it!
  19. if you have already purchased the helmet, there are great tutorials on how to fix it.
  20. it's a stop. it allows the clip to be inserted to the proper depth in the magazine well.
