  1. Sorry - delayed response - 1.5mm Met some lovely chaps from the UKG today so hopefully will be able to get the finishing touches done soon!
  2. Got a bit bored waiting for TK boots - so bought a pair of black chelsea boots for £30 and just added my last coat of white leather paint. Quite pleased with the result! Stormie Boots by Nate Jangotat - Vok'Chi, on Flickr
  3. Exactly - build quality is exceptional. Unfortunately I have rugby player's shoulders unlike those skinny seventies chaps!
  4. Only a noob, but from the looks of things - once the shoulders are taken in, the bells will also come in a bit
  5. It certainly is. Paul is a talented chap and seeing the pics (ignoring the big shoulders for now - trimming in the process) I'm really pleased with it so far. Looking forward to getting finished soon!
  6. Thanks guys! Boots in the post - I have gone for some black chelsea boots to rough up and spray white and will certainly take some more pics before the trimming begins What do you guys recommend for trimming? Stanley knife? Stephen - I think the aim has always been for 501st approval/UKG acceptance. I currently troop with the Mandalorian Mercs as a custom Mando and Special Edition Boba - going through the process at the moment to get a number etc. Hopefully with the next set of pics , I won't be far off with this kit James - I think missus likes me in this definitely. Nothing but complements and the torso section is fitting like a glove and shaving off a few pounds which helps!
  7. Thanks guys for the advice. I see what you are saying and will give it a few tweaks for the next fitting! I noticed the sniper plate keeps ducking under. I may help if I get the thighs a little higher/twisted round... Any other ways to keep it from disappearing?
  8. Finally got a chance to try out the Stormie built for me by Paul - still waiting on a pair of boots and a holster, but really please with the first pics: To note, after a mistake on the measurement for my biceps (I'm blaming the wife ) I need to try and make them a bit smaller, so I will be attempting to remove the strips and re-glue. If anyone has any pointers on having done this before, please let me know ta! So a few snaps - please let me know your thoughts and if anything that will help this fit better, let me know Stormie Front by Nate Jangotat - Vok'Chi, on Flickr Stormie Right by Nate Jangotat - Vok'Chi, on Flickr Stormie Back by Nate Jangotat - Vok'Chi, on Flickr Stormie Left by Nate Jangotat - Vok'Chi, on Flickr This is my first stormie so still learning. As mentioned, hoping to take in the biceps and hope this will help bring the shoulder bells a bit. I have some webbing that holds up the thighs, but was interested to know if anyone has any tips? Also, if there is anything glaringly wrong, please let me know! Thanks
  9. Inspired. Cheers Keith - I shall give it a go
  10. Thanks guys. I guess, I shall have to get my hacksaw out!
  11. I am starting on my Doopy's E-11 and seen a tutorial for the scope rail, when I get there -just wondered if there was anyone who makes em? Just seems there is a gap in the market otherwise. please shoot me a PM if you know a guy or gal... Thanks Nate
  12. Thanks so much guys - I learn more every time I come on here. And thanks Ingrid, super duper shiny sounds good to me!
