A medium to large sized pot should be fine. The bend is mainly in the middle, the connecting edges 2" will be mostly flat (minor contour).

Hot water. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Dip one in for about 5 seconds, pull it out and check the elasticity. You'll know when it's ready, it will be soft enough to bend.

Great build Lee, looks awesome Unless Steve is satisfied with the left side gap, I'd rein that in just a but more. Edit: Looking back at your connecting straps you might want to use nylon webbing instead of elastic in that area. Just a thought. Looks beautiful though. Good luck sir

haha working on it. Reworked my Ab and Chest plate weathering, approved. Now I have to take pics with it assembled, most likely tomorrow. Hopefully by this weekend SWAT will be done. Crossing fingers.
