  1. Empire TKs don't require any weathering. HWTs require very light weathering because in the game they are in heavy combat. I like to think of the TK as Air Force, a HWT as Navy and the TD as Army or Marine lol
  2. A lot of good questions. The simplest answer is that they are what they are. I know that sounds stupid however in the movie you don't see the transition just the result. Clean troopers are TKs and the dirty troopers are the TDs. If you visit the MEPD.net website you'll learn about weathering and the process used to create the TD look requires a lot of blending of earth tones to recreate the look of the armor in the movie. It's very detailed work. If you visit the site you can actually see my SWAT approval post and the detailing that went into my armor to make it look screen accurate.
  3. Now if we could only get you to set up shop in the US.
  4. It's nice to see armorers stop by to check on their product builds.
  5. "I will be doing mine up high like everybody here does them...right onto the molded ridge at the top of the shin." Yep, perfect
  6. Wow looks great Yee.
  7. lol, if "Tk x2 tusken mando boba pilot and spares" doesn't constitute "...have stuff on the shelf when I need it" I don't know what does
  8. Ahh, a seasoned builder
  9. In another 200+ years or so maybe...lol
  10. Does the Uproar circuit board look MFG built or like a enthusiast board? BTW why so many hearing aids? Curious
  11. Wow the Uproar is 1/4 the cost of the EAS system sold here, though it's using a different circuit board than I've seen. Must find out who the MFG is.
  12. And this is the exact reason I refuse to implement this new tech in my bucket. All I need is to be in the middle of a troop and my car calls me stating "This is OnStar what is your emergency".
  13. No prob, I wasn't sure myself, had to ask the experts. Just when I thought I could take off the training wheels I was reminded they never really come off.
  14. lol, even though I build them for others I don't want to take business away from Shawn. Hit him up, he'll sell you a set Tell him I sent ya .
  15. Not problem, no offense taken The FISD is a melting pot of costume builders from around the world. The fact we can put aside global and political issues for a common cause should be a testament to this organization. We're a family here, or at least I'd like to think so
  16. Freedom, including freedom of speech shouldn't have boarders.
  17. That was my point, never at any point did I state this is our (US) forum. How that was pulled out of the air is pretty amazing.
  18. Not the last time I checked... your point is?
  19. Not quite sure if YOU are commending me or being a grammar nazi . Either way, thanks Tim
  20. Great job Russell, and very nice. Keep up the good work.
