Yea funny thing if you look at my original post the TD doesn't look too wide but on the bench, wow I can totally see your point. Maybe it's the camera, weird.

Hey Alex, good question I'll have to check that, I'm pretty certain it is though. I know my clips may not be as wide as some I've seen giving the illusion the body's longer. Will double check.

I know this may be hindsight, but for future builders, since the lower forearm has a no return edge requirement it is much easier to align and trim the lower edge after you have aligned the upper return edge, unless for some reason your armor didn't come with enough plastic at the lower edge to do this. Hey thanks Tim. Yea I like it this way also. I can deal with a small cable running to one battery than a whole helmet full and by all means help yourself to any info I've provided.

If he wants it to look right the first time and eliminate the hassle and worry of which plastic to use where, I would highly suggest he contact AP and purchase extra plastic. When re-building my ATA I picked up 2 sheets of 16" x 24" from Terrell for less than $35 (including ship). It was enought to rebuild my entire armor inside and out, cover strips, snap mounts, etc, I even have 1/2 sheet left over, well worth the investment. I'm pretty certain extra AP would be very close in cost. Just my 2 cents

Another little helpful tip, buy a piece of press wood, similar to particle board but much smoother. Make it the size of the table you buy. Makes a great cutting board, basically protect the card table.

I was lucky enough to use the dining table for the sewing. That piece of furniture is mainly a "NO GO" for anything except food and school work

Great advise, especially on the TD, easy fix. Thank you very much. Lighting, yea tell me about it. Actually I think something's wrong with the camera also, filtering issue or something. Looking into it as we speak.

Shin & back yea, that was the least of my worries, from lighting and camera issue (bless the Mrs, rough night) just bad timing for taking pictures oh well, I'll redo them for Centurion.
