Excellent! Very nice Chris

Hey Charles thank you for your Centurion application. CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required photos have been submitted. Thank you for making the necessary updates to your armor and posting new pictures. When reviewing you armor I sat there for at least a 1/2hr just admiring the detail. I almost forgot I was looking at a Centurion app lol. Absolutely amazing work! . Alright let's do this. Sly and myself have determined and fully agree your armor has the required elements to qualify for Centurion. With that we would like to congratulate and welcome the next 501st Death Trooper Other-Armor Assembly/Fit: The only suggestion we have would be to sand the newly gnawed forearm edges (wrist side). We would hate to see you slice yourself and bleed out, wait! scratch that, you're already dead . On a serious note though please smooth out those edges a bit

Team Armor Build [NE]: ESB in Northern California

Whatever is required at L2 is required at L3 also, if applicable. -
It was up for discussion in the detachment area. So what you're saying is every change to be made to the CRL should be up to the entire FISD?

Matt no worries my brother, you have no fault here. Everyone's entitled to their concerns and opinions. Sometimes passions and opinions run high.

Hey Chris, thank you for your EIB application CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required photos have been posted. Your armor meets all requirements for Expert infantry, welcome trooper . Great job Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section, we review suggestions made by your fellow troopers and our own observations. All go towards improving the final look of your armor. Though none of following suggestions will effect your EIB status they will help to make your armor look more accurate. Building the Anovos armor myself quite a few things stuck out I updated to be more accurate. One was the Hovi screens. The accurate screens were of a heavier mesh. We're not requiring Anovos applicants replace their screens but we are advising them it would be a nice enhancement. Reference image Cleaning up the Vcoder paint. Looking at the image below, you can see a significant difference between the reference pic above. This will be a required fix for Centurion. In Gazmosis's Anovos helmet rebuild tutorial he goes into detail on how to remove the old paint then repaint the area. Centurion Suggestions: The ultimate accuracy at this level is up to the Trooper. The following suggestions and requirements are to prepare you for the Centurion level if you choose to apply for it. 1) Fix Vcoder paint job 2) For Centurion the chest is to remain over the ab. Yours really isn't that bad, this is more of just an FYI however, you do have a significant gap between your back and kidney plates. Reign those in a bit and you'll be golden. 3) Blaster scope. As much as I hate to see you weather your scope (it's so new and shiny), compared to the rest of your blaster it kind of sticks out lol. We suggest maybe you tone down the shine just a tad. Regarding your holster placement, though we like to see them a bit closer to the ammo belt your's is still accurate and perfectly fine even at Centurion. Looking at this screen shot the holster and mounts are spaced pretty far from the ammo belt also. Bottom line, nothing to worry about here. Again, congrats

Great idea Jeff though I was wondering if maybe we should suggest moving the connection at the chest to back plate connecting strap instead, or did I miss a step here.

Folks, the 22mm notch and it's placement is a Centurion level requirement. If the current decision does not suit you then build your armor to the accuracy level that does. If requirements change them make or don't make the necessary corrections as needed for the next level. We currently have a builder with a FX suit that we're helping to get to the highest level possible with his armor. At one time FX armor was Centurion approved, now it barely meets basic requirements, and the helmet is a no go at any level. Requirements will come and go, we're NOT forcing you to do anything. The fear mongering by a few is unbelievable. I'm getting reports from the FB pages that some won't even attempt 501st approval mainly due to all the bickering going on the FISD. If this was your goal

Abdomen Armor For 501st approval: Gap ok The abdomen armor has a button area that matches the color pattern shown (3 blue + 6 gray); buttons are approximately 7/16" (11mm) in diameter. For level two certification (if applicable): Minimal gap Any gap between the abdomen and kidney armor is no more than 1/2" (12.5mm) wide. Any shims used to achieve this effect are of a similar material and color as the abdomen and kidney armor. Shims fit flush and seams are allowed. For level three certification (if applicable): Little to no gap Ideally there no gap between the abdomen and kidney armor. A single visible seam line is present.

Yes and even EIB

It's funny here we have the accuracy crew complaining about something that doesn't suit their version of accuracy yet as the armor and rules have changed over the years I bet there wasn't a second thought or concern as to who's toes you were trampling on. There has been a discussion thread regarding the 22mm notch and it's location for months, with no concrete resolution. So instead of sitting around and continue to squabble about who's correct some of us pulled the trigger. So here it is. Germain, you had your opportunity to be the DO but you turned it down. You could be the one on the hot seat for whatever reason but you bowed out, yet every opportunity you get you slam something we do, atta boy! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk

There's two of us here plus a DL so you're wrong again Germain. Man I love saying that. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk

Hey Aaron, make sure the cover strips are below the upper return edges. If you have to trim them to follow the return edge -

Hey Walter, so what's the big to do over bicep hooks? Whether or not to install them due to screen accuracy or L3 approved? -

The upper shin. Most zippers have one end of the zipper fixed. If that's your case what's you plan on how to get your foot in and out? If it's not fixed what's your plan on connecting the two to zip in a blind area? -
Early in an understatement lol

Beautiful!
