Anovos armor was offered to existing 501st member starting last year, prior to SW Celebration. Since then it has been offered to those who had signed up for the offer however, it is currently not being sold. It's been rumored Anovos will re-release the armor to the general public maybe later this year.

Manufacturing process, materials, design. Whether Anovos was granted a licence to sell an exact replica of the movie armor or a version of it, not sure if anyone here knows that answer. Those of us who own the Anovos armor are bound by a NDA we signed agreeing not disclose detailed information regarding the armor except with others that are also under the same NDA agreement.

The movie armor is much different the what Anovos has been licensed to sell. There maybe a couple people here on the FISD with knowledge of who made the movie armor but I'm not sure if they'll disclose that information.

Well, kinda. They do give us a bit more insight to the backpack itself but as we've seen with the toys they haven't been quite accurate. Until we get some close ups or behind the scenes shots it's anyone's guess.

Now that I think about it there's two unused buckles at the top backside of my vest, wasn't sure what they were used for, now I think I do.

Since it's being worn by the trooper with a tactical vest why not attach it to the rear straps? Just a thought

Unless all the armor mfgs receive their material from the same vendor, armor colors will vary. This is the first set of rubberized hand guards that matched :happy and cheerful birthday:

Hand wash. Hang Dry. Neither the under suit or the gaskets attach to any armor pieces, the armor rests on top.
