  1. Hey Chris thanks for your application, Sly or myself will be with your shortly.
  2. You're very welcome Dominique. Many helped me along the way as well. Pay it forward.
  3. Ah very clever So does the upper section always remain connected?
  4. Sorry if I missed this question being asked already.........so...... how do you get to the zipper handle? String?
  5. This is a great topic that can be debated on the Anovos discussion thread.

  7. Hey Scott, adding anything to the kit just adds weight. A single lb makes a difference over the course of a few hours trooping. I've seen people add tape like Mark has mentioned and even ABS strips, but to be honest unless it's to reinforce a specific weak point I really don't think you'll need anything. IMO
  8. Return edge is to simulate armor thickness. Unless you plan on using brackets then I wouldn't worry about it. You look good Mark. That said I would suggest removing some return edge from the lower section of your shoulder bells so that they sit closer to your biceps covering more under suit material.
  9. A zipper, I guess there's a first for everything lol. I'm very interested in seeing how this works
  10. Is there a reason why you want to increase it?
  11. Well you're in luck my friend, send me a PM
  12. They need to be flat head 1. "V" head, flat, slotted machine screws 2. 3.5m or equivalent however, the important info is the head diameter needs to be no larger than 6.5mm
  13. Hey Jon, it should line up with the bottom of the thigh or even over lap it.
  14. Trooperbay.com or any one of the armor mfgs found in the "Getting Started" thread
  15. I have a pair of TKBoots also. The earlier versions were pretty wide. I just tucked them in and trooped.
  16. I know it seems trivial and for the most part I agree. Unfortunately it is what it is at the moment, sorry peeps
  17. As stated earlier in this build thread lol
  18. haha, have a great weekend and Happy Easter Regarding the 22mm notch, btw this is for Centurion level only, the 22mm notch is to reside closest to the ab and kidney connection. Centurion is the ultimate level, Sly, myself and the staff have beat our heads against the wall regarding the 22mm, it's existence in the CRL, its placement and requirements. This is our current decision. If you are a larger trooper you'll have to shim or technically fill in the existing notch and recreate it in the correct location.
  19. It's a bit difficult to be exact but in your case the setup above appears to be your best bet. Btw way for those following this, approvals are coming through with the shins assembled both ways. As long as they look uniform you'll be fine.
  20. The reason you may be having difficulties is it looks like the front shin return edge is too wide. Did you trim it down to 20mm total as illustrated? It looks to be 40mm or more. Are the vertical green lines the starting point of the front return edge? If so is the gap between the left and right return edges 20mm?
  21. What Mathias said
  22. Well it's definitely the thinnest material I've worked with so far, though it's not a bad kit. For the introductory price it's definitely worth it. As for the full priced version, I would choose from one of our vetted builders first. The catch here is the bells and whistles that Anovos includes which makes their kit more attractive. Without it it's just another kit. INHO
