  1. As long as it runs true to size, XL should be sufficient.
  2. Just built a set of RT-Mod for a fellow garrison mate, 6'2" 200, had plenty of plastic to spare.
  3. Sleeping on the job I see haha
  4. Cut a 3/4" or less circular disc out of cover strip or armor scrap material, drill a hole for the hovi tip stud size, glue disc to interior of helmet, let dry. Install hovi.
  5. Alright, time for another HWT backpack build
  6. Hey Sean, thank you for your Centurion application. CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required photos have been submitted. Thank you for making the suggested repairs. Your armor contains all necessary elements to qualify you for Centurion. Sly and myself would like to welcome you, congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: Nothing to add here. Great job on your armor trooper
  7. Kalani, if you think like I do if you want to go sandy you'll want to go SWAT. That said, depending what character you want to emulate will determine which MP40s to buy, some use both leather and canvas possibly contributing to the HWT confusion.
  8. There's a lot of areas that need clarification or correction in the CRLs, lol. As you know it's work in progress. To be honest there's nothing that says you can't have two different types however, at the Centurion level we are looking for components to be uniform and would probably mention it during the approval process.
  9. lol, Either / or means, either all leather or all canvas, not both. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
  10. SWEET!!! "I was wondering if a more-accurate pack would be turned down in the name of uniformity, or if that would be encouraged?" Not turned down and yes encouraged. "Did I read correctly that you can use nice leather pouches OR canvas pouches (or pleather), but not a mix of both?" Either or, we don't encourage mixing. CRL: Ammo Pouches For 501st approval: German MP-40 style ammo pouches. Pouches are black in color and made of canvas, leather or leather-like material. There are a minimum of two pouches:One pouch on the left shoulder and one on the right hip. Option:A third pouch worn on the opposite hip.
  11. Yea, that was because I assumed the tube length was correct during assembly and realized after I painted and installed the face plate it wasn't. You are correct removing material from one side is all that is needed, and the most logical. This is a classic example of measure twice and cut once oversight. Thanks for bringing that up Brian
  12. Great advice guys, remember the only return edge required to be remove is on the wrist side. As a matter of fact the unevenness of the inner and outer halves is actually screen accurate however, we advise leveling it out to avoid pinch points, but it's not a requirement either. Here's some reference pictures.
  13. FREAKING Awesome! Excellent work Jimmi
  14. Absolutely, thanks for the catch. One picture eliminated, measurements changed to "...1-3/8" and 5/8" or so from the tip of the cod"
  15. Hey Brian, I use "S" popper snaps which allows for more clearance between snaps. There's not a set or required measurement for that area but I think this is what your looking for http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/35086-ukswraths-anovos-tk-build/?p=474712. BTW the elastic strap is 3/4"
  16. Roger that, glad to be of assistance.

  18. Hey David sorry to hear you're having issues. Why don't you post some pictures so we have a better idea of what's going on.
  19. My pleasure. Have any questions feel free to ask.
  20. Looking forward to seeing actual pulls.
  21. Very cool

  23. Hey Brian, sorry to see that happen. Man that sux! On a positive note this will not effect any levels of approval. We will most undoubtedly recommend you fix it in the future, but if everything is on par you'll be ok. How to fix? This armor is so thin in spots I would avoid any more heat. That said, if you had a big enough pot to isolate it from the side (damaged area) I say do a trial dip for half the time duration then see if you can gently reshape it. Other than that leave it alone, I doubt anyone but yourself will really notice it.
  24. Yep sure looks that way doesn't it
