ukswrath replied to jamihal's topic in Request Centurion Status
Hey James Andrew or myself will be with you shortly. -
Hey David, Andrew or myself will be with you shortly. While your waiting could you please remove the paint for the right Ab male snap base and post another photo. We also need photos of all 4 helmet sides and the lens color. Thank you Edit: We also need photos of the inside strapping, inner and outer waist belt connections (laid out flat) and finally of the Vcoder/Hovi tips or lower front helmet close up.

TK-70670 Requesting ANH HERO EIB Status (DA Props) [745]

Hey Darren, Andrew or myself will be with you shortly. -
I would try to curve them, even ever so slightly. Personally I'd check with your GML and see what he says.
-
The only logical reason to trim the length is if your arms were not long enough and maybe for comfort. Trimming the wrist side to even out both inner and outer halves is another. Edit: Trimming the wrist side to remove the return edge is also mandatory for Centurion.

Looking nice Shelby, I wouldn't worry about it too much. In the grand scheme of things it's a minimal issue that is very common as you've discovered. Add foam as suggested earlier and you'll do fine. Keep up the good work.

Hey Steve thank you for your patience and EIB application. Also, thank you for reducing the ab side gaps as suggested. Let's get you approved. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All the required submission photos have been posted. Great job on your build. Your armor meets all EIB requirements. Andrew and myself would like to welcome you to Expert Infantry Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. We have a few areas to go over here so get to it. Starting at the top and working our way down your helmet has a few areas we'd like to talk about. The black paint outlining the traps and rank stripes could stand to be touched up. The tube strips and Vcoder also need a little TLC to clean up the lines, all illustrated below. Reference photo/s Hovi tips look incorrect. Eiher the Hovis are either incorrect or assembled incorrectly. The screen should be near the tip of the Hovi, your's look recessed quite a bit. We're recommending you repair or replace them. Reference photo Next is the shoulder ball gap. There should be minimal gap between the shoulder bells and chest/back plates. Definitely recommend tightening the top strap. Reference phoito Calf opening. It might be a good idea to reshape the closure area so that the two halves are parallel. The current angle makes it's difficult to close and keep closed. Thank you for providing the cloth belt measurements as requested. Upon further review the ammo belt appears too wide. We're suggesting you remove all but roughly 1/8" of the upper and lower return edge just outside of the ammo boxes. Take a look at the reference photo, there should be minimal material in this area. Reference photo Another minor issue is the TD screws should be flat head type. Though this won't affect any levels of approval we're recommending you replace them with the correct screws when convenient. Reference photo Centurion Suggestions: In this section we prepare you for Centurion. If there were any areas of concern they would be discussed here. The only area of concern is the drop box alignment. The CRL states the drop boxes should be aligned with the outer most edge of the ammo belt. Simply repositioning the drop box connecting strap them gluing it to the cloth belt should keep them in place and aligned. Reference photo That's it, great job. Hope to see you at Centurion.

TK-80176 requesting EIB STATUS, ANH STUNT ( RS) [742]
ukswrath replied to Risvang's topic in Request Expert Infantry Status
Hey Nicholai thank you for your patience and EIB application. Let's get started. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All the required submission photos have been posted. Thank you for making our job easy. You armor displays the required elements for L2 approval. We have a couple minor areas we'd like to mention. The shoulder bell to chest and back plate gap should be very minimal. Tightening the upper connecting straps should draw them in closer to the shoulder covers reducing the gap. Here's a reference photo to give you an idea of what we're looking for. Back plate to kidney plate gap. There should be little to no gap here also. A strap adjustment may be in order here. Reference photo Finally, a very minor issue but worth mentioning is the sniper knee lower edge, left side should technically follow the contour of the armor itself, similar to the right side. A minor trim should do the trick. Reference photo Centurion Suggestions: In this section we prepare you for Centurion. If there were any areas of concern they would be discussed here. The only area of concern is the drop box alignment. We have nothing to add here. Beautiful job on your build -
Hey Ross thank you for your patience and EIB application. Let's get you approved. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All the required submission photos have been posted. Beautiful job on your build. We have a couple minor areas to touch on here, starting at the helmet. Though not a huge deal we're suggesting you either release the air bubble under the right tear decal or maybe replace it all together, giving the area a cleaner look. Though not bad keep an eye on the Ab to Kidney gap it should be under 1/2 for EIB and 0 for Centurion. Reference photos Thank you for providing the cloth belt measurements as requested. Upon further review the ammo belt itself appears too wide. We're suggesting you remove all but roughly 1/8" of the upper and lower return edge just outside of the ammo boxes. Take a look at the reference photo, there should be minimal material in this area. Reference photo While in the area we notice the drop boxes look a bit too wide. It may be a photo think but they shouldn't be more than 15mm wide, maybe you can double check this when you get a moment. Another minor issue is the TD screws should be flat head type. Though this won't affect any levels of approval we're recommending you replace them with the correct screws when convenient. Reference photo Centurion Suggestions: In this section we prepare you for Centurion. If there were any areas of concern they would be discussed here. The only area of concern is the drop box alignment. The CRL states: For level three certification (if applicable): Drop boxes are vertically aligned with the end of the ammo belt with minimal gap between belt and box. This is an easy fix, if you glue the drop box straps to the waist cloth belt you shouldn't have any more issues with alignment. Reference photo Welcome again to EIB and fantastic job on your build . Hope to see you at Centurion.

Thanks for removing the ab snap paint and updating all the photos As for the Ab to Kidney gap unfortunately you're going to have to do a bit more work, there's still too much gap especially on the left side. The EIB requirements and CRL are very clear regarding this area. This is what we want to see. Here's a few of your fellow troopers who recently received their EI badge:

TK-53929 Requesting ANH Stunt EIB Status [Anovos] [740]
ukswrath replied to rwbowri's topic in Request Expert Infantry Status
Hey Robert, thank you for your patience and EIB application. Let's get started. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All the required submission photos have been posted. Beautiful job on your armor build. Starting at the top and working our way down, we thank you updating the Anovos helmet ear screws and frown . The only other suggestion would be to clean up the vcoder paint lines. They should be a bit more uniformed. Reference photo Next is the shoulder bell to chest and back plate gap which should be very minimal. Tightening the straps draw them in closer. Reference photo Another area mention by one of you fellow troopers is your sniper knee. If you can remove it without damaging it we suggest you position it so that it runs parallel with the shin itself. This doesn't have to be perfect we're just concerned may dig into your knee cap while trooping. Reference photo A minor repair would be to ensure the forearm to bicep gap should be equal. Other than that arms look great. Reference photo And finally, we're sure this is nothing however, be mindful of the calf closure. Your's appears to be separating as seen here. Centurion Suggestions: In this section we prepare you for Centurion. If there were any areas of concern they would be discussed here. The only area of concern is the drop box alignment. According the the CRL they are to be aligned with the outer most edge of the waist ammo belt. Simply gluing the drop box strap to the cloth belt usually remedy's this issue. Reference photo The left ab/kidney rivets are in the wrong locations. Red dots illustrate where they should be. There are numerous build threads illustrating where they should be placed. If you need some guidance please let us know. Reference photo Alright Robert, that's it. Very nice work on your build, hope to see you at Centurion. -

Hey Martin thank you for your patience and EIB application. Also, thank you for adding the charge handle and posting updated photos. Let's take a look. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All the required submission photos have been posted. Beautiful job on your armor build. We have a few areas to go over here so get to it. Starting at the top and working our way down your helmet has a few areas we'd like to talk about. The tube stripes should be roughly a #2 pencil width from the side of the face. We also noticed a couple of stripes are either under the ears or bunched up near the frown. Though they don't look bad, either less strips or more evenly spaced would make the area look more uniform. Reference photo/s Lastly with the helmet, the left trap outer paint line doesn't follow the return edge. Were suggesting you revisit this area. Reference photo Your shoulder covers should technically have more of an arc following the contour of the back plate. Reshaping them should do the trick. Reference photo. There should be minimal gap between the shoulder bells, chest and back plates. Reference phoito Centurion Suggestions: In this section we prepare you for Centurion. If there were any areas of concern they would be discussed here. The only area of concern is the drop box alignment. According the the CRL they are to be aligned with the outer most edge of the waist ammo belt. Simply gluing the drop box strap to the cloth belt usually remedy's this issue. Reference photo That's it Martin, Again. great job on your armor. Hope to see you at Centurion.
