  1. Positive attitude, I love it! See you at Centurion Robert
  2. It will fit better without it and I encourage everyone to shoot for centurion especially since it can easily be done as you build the armor.
  3. Hey Charlie the return edge on the forearms is not a requirement, as a matter of fact on the wrist side it's mandatory you remove it for the Centurion level. If you're afraid of removing too much than remove a little at a time. The amount of space in the center especially, is normal. Depending on the thickness of your arm you may need to add foam to help keep it centered on your arm. Hope this helps
  4. The thin areas are mainly contained to the return edges but I've built a few of these now and there's no rhyme or reason as to which areas exactly. This also goes for the cracking but may differ between owners as mentioned above. To be honest most armor will crack eventually. some before others. The ole saying you get what your pay for rings very true here. It would be safe to say the majority of the Anovos owners purchased theirs at the introductory cost of $350. At that price it was worth it. At the current retail price there are several other manufactures with more durable armor available. You can find them under the "Vetted" list in the "Armor and where to find it" section.
  5. He does have a good point. Test fit your armor to see how it feels
  6. I pretty certain you lost 99% of the audience by line three lol. Welcome to the FISD. Personally speaking it's always a pleasure to have others here with technical electrical knowledge.
  7. Looking good
  8. Our pleasure, and glad to be of assistance. See you on the front line. Congrats again
  9. Paper thin in some areas
  10. Until I can fix my dropbox account the Power and Helmet diagram images should be much clearer.
  11. Alright Sarah welcome back. Thank you for your HWT Centurion application. CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required submission photos are present. It's great to see another HWT shooting for Centurion. Thank you for making the corrections I suggested during your EIB application. We are delighted to say your armor displays all the elements as set out in the Centurion CRL. That said we'd like to congratulate and welcome you to the Centurion rank. L3 HWT is a small group that is quickly gaining momentum. These are exciting times. Outstanding job on your build Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: During your EIB application I mentioned lowering your ab belt because it was covering the lower ab buttons. Unfortunately the opposite is now the problem meaning it's too low. As mentioned the belt should reside at or just below the lowest buttons, take a look at the reference photos we provided. When you get some time we're suggesting you move the belt back up to the correct location. This will enhance the accuracy of your armor, give the area a more uniformed and tidy look. Finally, keep an eye out for your left shoulder plate, in the photos above it's a bit out of place, possibly snagged on something. That's it. Beautiful work on your build Sarah. If you haven't done so already it's time to hit the trails and make the empire proud
  12. Hey Gary welcome back and thank you for your Centurion application. CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required submission photos are present. Thank you for making the corrections as suggested by Andrew during your EIB app. Your armor displays all the elements as set out in the Centurion CRL. That said, we'd like to congratulate and welcome you to the L3 rank trooper. Outstanding job Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: If we had any suggestions he it would be to keep an eye out for the ab to kidney clearance on the right side. There should be no gap on either sides. This could just be a photo issue but worth mentioning none the less. That's it. Great job on your build Gary. Time to get out there and hit the pavement, the empire awaits your service.
  13. That is confirmed, I've worn my ST twice and the shoulder plates are cracked. Plastic coat may work but to be honest rubberized cement or similar in high prone cracking areas would be best. If someone is willing to coat the inside of their armor and document the journey, who's to argue.
  14. Me neither, never understood the reasoning behind it and to be honest I don't think it will help the Anovos armor.
  15. Hey Gary Andrew or myself will be with your shortly.
  16. Bummer. Well give them a shout I'm sure they'll send the items they missed.
  17. If you're shooting for ANH Stunt either paint them yourself or head on over to trooperbay.com and buy yourself a set of "Dave M" decals. BTW trooperbay also has templates if you're not comfortable with making stencils by hand.
  18. Well there's a few directions you can go here. 1) Using acetone make a ABS slurry using the scrap trimmings. Sand and polish (cheap but time consuming). 2) Purchase a couple different cans of bright white spray paint and test it on some of the scrap trimmings. Sometimes close is good enough (cheap route). 3) Take the armor to a automotive paint supply store and have it color matched, buy the paint then have someone paint it (expensive route).
  19. Hi Sarah Andrew or myself will be with your shortly. While you wait could you please post the following photos. Thigh Ammo pack attachment (inside) Cod and Butt plate attachment (inner and outer) Blaster (left side) Helmet (left and back) Shoulder bridge (left and right close up) Thank you
  20. The first photo your GML sent you is of my armor. I looked at some reference photos last night and from what I can see it still stands correct, your's does appear to be too large regardless.
