Hey Ross welcome back and thank your Centurion application, let's do this. CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required submission photos are present. Thank you for making all the suggested repairs noted during your EIB application. At this time we are happy to say your armor displays all the elements as set out in the Centurion CRL. Sly and myself would like to congratulate and welcome you to the L3 rank trooper. Beautiful job on your build Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: If we had anything to add here it would be your drop boxes are sitting a bit low since you made the ammo belt correction. There should be little to no gap between them and the ammo belt. I'm sure this is a simple oversight. We're suggesting you raise them up when you have a moment. Alright that's it. Time to get out there and make the Empire proud as their newest Centurion.

TK-93312 Requesting ANH Stunt EIB Status (AP) [758]
ukswrath replied to taratrooper's topic in Request Expert Infantry Status
Hi Tara thank you for your EIB application. Let's take a look. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All the required submission photos have been posted. You armor displays and the required components for L2. Andrew and myself would like to welcome you to the rank of Expert Infantry . Excellent job Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. We have a few areas to go over here so let's get to it. Starting at the top, though it is not required for the ears to fit the helmet perfectly your right ear appears to be pulled away enough to expose the mounting screws. We're recommending you revisit this are and make necessary adjustments to close the gap a bit. Here's a movie helmet reference Photo Shoulder covers should follow the contour of your armor coming to rest on the back plate. It's recommended you reshape these. Take a look at the reference photos below. Reference photos. Next up there should be minimal gap between the shoulder bells, chest and back plates. We're recommending you tighten the connecting straps and possibly remove more lower return edge allowing the bells to move closer to the chest and back plates. From the front they appear to be ok but from the back there's very large gaps. We're recommending you make adjustments as necessary to correct this. Reference photo The kidney and ab rivets unfortunately are not in the correct positions. As illustrated in the photo we've provided the upper and lower rivets should reside roughly 15mm from the top and bottom edges of the ab however, we would also like to note the lower area indicated in our illustration was based on the lower edge if it was still in its original position before you repositioned the cod up behind the ab. Very creative we would like to add . This suggested repair is not mandatory but highly recommended if you choose to shoot for Centurion. Reference photos While on the subject of alignment, the Ab and kidney on the right side should be aligned similar to the left. We're sure this is just a photo issue that's easily fixed. Reference photo Ab button return edge. On the vertical Ab plate there appears to be some return edge where there should be none. Simply put the plate should be slightly smaller that the area on the Ab that it's glued to. Check out the reference photo we've provided. Reference photo Thermal Detonator too long? We're looking at the TD it appears to be a bit too long. It should be roughly 7-1/2" total in length. The end caps also look too wide. The diameter of your tube is a bit smaller then canon yet still acceptable at any level however, it looks disproportionate. We're suggesting you take a look at the reference photos we've provided and make adjustment as needed. Reference photo Moving down to the thighs, your cover strips appear to be extending past the armor it self and should be trimmed accordingly, this goes for all cover strips Reference photos Centurion Suggestions: In this section we prepare you for Centurion. If there were any areas of concern they would be discussed here. The only area worth mentioning is the forearm return edge at the wrist side. Just a reminder to remove all the return edge. Reference photo That's it, beautiful job on your armor build. Hope to see you at Centurion -

Hey Matt thanks for your patience and thank you for your EIB application. Let's take a look. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: As mentioned by Joseph nice work on those kidney shims. Looks like all the required submission photos have been posted. Andrew and myself are pleased to announce you armor displays all the necessary components to qualify you for Expert Infantry. Congratulations Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: As you know as we get to the higher levels of accuracy we look a little deeper. In this section we'll review observations made by either your fellow troopers or Andrew and myself. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. We have a few minor areas we'd like to mention, starting with the helmet, great job BTW. It appears the left side tube stripes are wider than the right. This could be a photo issue, if not you might want to trim the outer edge. Reference photo Moving down, the shoulder bells should be tight against the chest and back with little gap. We're suggesting you tighten the upper strap and maybe remove the lower return edge to bring it closer also. Reference photo Next up there should be very minimal gap between the kidney and back and posterior plates. This could be a simple strapping adjustment. Reference photo TD off center. Obviously a photo issue and easy fix. When you get a moment please remove the MFG pipe details. Though no one will really see it's not screen accurate, or canon. Reference photo And finally we noticed your sniper knee was resting against your leg in the photos. We're suggesting you trim this back quite a bit increasing the space and prevent armor damage, or better yet bodily harm lol. Reference photos Centurion Suggestions: And in this section we prepare you for Centurion. The only areas of concern here is keep in mind at Centurion there's to be little to no gap between the Ab and Kidney. You're possibly over the required gap limitation for this area. A simple strap adjustment should do the trick. Reference photos That's it. Again, very nice work on your build and hope to see you at Centurion. -

No worries on the lens. Regarding the drop box alignment if you simply glue the connecting strap to your cloth belt you won't have to be concerned about them moving around , something I forgot to mention. Great job -

Hey Alberto thank you for your patience and EI application, let's take a look. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: Beautiful job on your build brother, your attention to detail is very evident. That being said all submission photos have been posted, Andrew and myself and proud to say your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry. Welcome to the rank trooper! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. Overall your armor looks very nice. In our ongoing quest to make a every trooper look his or her best we have a few minor areas to mention. First is your helmet lens. The color is perfect but it's may be a bit transparent. As we examined your app closely your eye caught ours lol. Though not mandatory you might want to go with either a darker shade or slightly thicker material that obstructs your eyes from the fans Next up, armor spacing. You're a tall fella and you've done a fabulous job evenly spacing the armor sections. If we had any suggestions it would be to maybe drop your biceps even farther reducing the gap between them and your forearms as seen in the reference photo. Reference photo Waist belt a little low. In the straight forward photo the belt doesn't look too bad but from other angles it appears to be 1/2" below the ab buttons. This could be just a photo issue but worth mentioning none the less. Reference image Centurion Suggestions: In this section we prepare you for Centurion. If there are any areas of concern they will be discussed here. There's only one area of concern, the drop boxes are to be aligned with the outer most edge of the ammo belt. In some photos it appears to be correct, in others it's off. Please make sure this is corrected before applying for Centurion if you choose to do so. Job well done Alberto. Congratulations again, a well deserved Expert Infantry badge -
Hey Noah thank you for applying for EIB. Thank you for making the corrections as mentioned by your fellow troopers. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All the required submission photos have been posted. Very nice job on your build. Your armor meets all EIB requirements, Andrew and myself would like to welcome you to Expert Infantry Brock Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor and accuracy. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. Again, these are suggestions and recommendations. The accuracy is ultimately up to you. We have a few areas to go over so let's get to it. Vcoder lines could use a little more definition, as seen in the provided reference photo. A little touch up is in order in the following areas. Reference photo Next is the shoulder ball gap. There should be minimal gap between the shoulder bells and chest/back plates. YOur's aren't that bad but could stand to be closer. Tightening the upper strap should do the trick. Reference phoito Next up is the back to kidney gap and posterior position. There should be very minimal gap here between the back and posterior in relation to the kidney. We definitely encourage you to tighten or reposition these areas as illustrated. Reference photo Another area needing adjustment is your right forearm which appears to have a considerably larger gap between it and the hand guard. We're suggesting you minimize the gap to match your right side whixh may require you to drop the bicep essentially dropping the forearm also. Thermal Detonator screws big. They flat pan head and slotted but they also appear to be a bit large in relation to our TD clips. The ear screws you may have removed from the helmet ears are a perfect size if you still have them lying around. Reference photo Waist belt is positioned a bit low. It should sit roughly at or just below the ab buttons, as seen in the reference photo. Reference photo And finally, not a huge deal but the sniper knee should follow the contour of the shin. This may be a simple photo issue, if not you might want to trim this area down a bit. Reference photo Centurion Suggestions: In this section we prepare you for your Centurion application if you choose to apply. If there were any areas of concern they would be discussed here. We have a couple area that will need to be addressed before applying for Centurion. The CRL states the drop boxes should be aligned with the outer most edge of the ammo belt. Simply correctly positioning the drop box connecting strap then gluing it to the cloth belt should keep them in place and aligned. CRL: *For level three certification (if applicable): Drop boxes are vertically aligned with the end of the ammo belt with minimal gap. The boxes should also sit just below the ammo belt lower edge. Before applying for Centurion you'll need to secure these in the correct locations. Here's a reference photo Hasbro Blaster not accepted at L3. The CRL states: "For level three certification (if applicable): Hasbro blasters are not allowed, even conversions." Sorry but you'll need to replace your blaster with a model that is acceptable before you apply for Centurion, if you choose to apply. That's it, great job on your build Noah. Hope to see you at Centurion.

Hey Josh thank you for applying for EIB. Starting with the helmet the ear screws. The screws Anovos uses to secure the ears are incorrect. They should be "V" head slot screws. There are a couple sellers here on the FISD that have the correct screws. Note: Don't throw away these screws just yet, you'll need them. Reference photo Vcoder lines could use a little more definition as seen in the provided reference photo. A little touch up is in order in the following areas. Reference photo Hovi tip interior should be white as seen in the provided reference photo. It's hard to tell in your photo. If they're not white we're recommending you paint them. Reference photo Next is the left shoulder ball gap. There should be minimal gap between the shoulder bells and chest/back plates. This may be a simple photo issue, if not tightening the lower return edge strap (if used) to draw the bells in closer as indicated. Reference phoito Next up is the back to kidney gap. There should be very minimal gap here. If you decide to shoot for Centurion we definitely encourage you to tighten up this area. Reference photo Another possible photo issue or area needing adjustment is your left forearm which appears to have a considerably larger gap between it and the hand guard. We're suggesting you minimize the gap to match your right side. Thermal Detonator screws are incorrect. They should be flat pan head and slotted. Remember when I mentioned keeping the incorrect ear screws, well they're perfect for mounting the TD clips to the tube. We're recommending you change these. Reference photo So we noticed you have a pretty significant gap at the back of your thighs. That said, depending on how this armor functions when you walk it may be worth considering removing a bit from the circumference of the armor so it fits you better OR... at minimum make sure you have plenty of padding between the armor and your body. Reference photo Gap at lower left thigh. You have a pretty significant gap between armor halves at the lower return edge. As you know the cover strip does not cover this area, or we wouldn't be having this conversation lol. Our suggestion would be to close this gap a bit more or maybe put a piece of cover strip or scrap material behind it to conceal the gap. Reference photo Not a huge issue but when connecting the calf halves try to align the tops. Besides uniformity it helps prevent armor bites. And finally, your waist belt is a little droopy on the left side, not bad. It should be roughly 1/4"-1/2" higher. Take a look at the provided reference photo. Here's a reference photo Lastly there's to be no return edge at the wrist side of the forearms. Please remove any and all return edge material. Reference photo That's it, great job. Hope to see you at Centurion.

Well you can re-glue them or add the Centurion level straps and see how they sit. Another option if you're afraid to damaged them just add some white velcro to hold them in place.
