  1. Looking forward to your build
  2. I believe the CRL statement eliminates any confusion between Phasma and the TFA which does have soft pouches. That said, once you've been approved at any level if you want to add a card carrier pouch that's completely up to you.
  3. Yea removing the ammo belt is a B. Looks like you did a great job The extra velcro on the left side of the belt was to help support the holster area
  4. Coming along nicely Jacob, looks like you're getting some great advice. Keep up the good work
  5. Coming along nicely Mario
  6. Yes it was. I've seen folks buy the mix and forget the gun and tips. Sounds like you're ready to go
  7. Coming along nicely
  8. Did you buy the gun and mixing tip pack?
  9. Armor came out awesome Tim
  10. Looking good Richard good luck with your application.
  11. Yes, I use them with my FOTK/Sith internal harness. Makes difficult areas to reach a simple task.
  12. Fantastic job Mark, welcome to EIB brother
  13. Hey Alexander welcome to the FISD
  14. Ola! Depending where you install them yes insulation may be needed. In the ears you might be picking up the fans transferring through the plastic, the fans themselves are pretty quiet. You can try adding some insulation at the mics (wire side), or if they're not permanently glued you can add foam or electrical tape around the mic then reinstall. Something to prevent the mic contacting the helmet itself. Let me know if any of these help.
  15. If the dying doesn't pan out you can also buy the belt off white from Kittle. You can find him on the "Ongoing Sales" page
  16. You are correct, they are not. I used Plexus MA310 (or equivalent) with my kit and still use it today.
  17. Hey Richard welcome to the FISD. That's a beautiful set of armor you have there.
  18. With TFA this area is recessed (as it currently is) with a decal. Most, if not all seam imperfections will be remedied with the inner cover strip and exterior filler. That said, unless you want to see cracks begin to form at the seam areas later on I can't express how important it is to use some type of plastic welder epoxy to connect sections. My armor is over 5 years old with absolutely no cracks. Keep up the good work.
  19. Looking good Shawn, good luck with your application.
  20. Fantastic job. Using a heat gun can be daunting but you made it look so easy
