  1. It looks like a pulled down Anovos bucket, can anyone in here confirm this looks similar to the standard line with the beak modified Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Hey Michael welcome back and thank you for your Centurion application, let's get you approved. CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required submission photos are present. Thank you for making the corrections suggested on your EIB app. I know the side shims were a daunting prospect, but you have really done a great job of them. Tony and I are happy to say your armor displays all the elements as set out in the Level 3 CRL. Congratulate and welcome to Centurion brother. Great job Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we may mention any additional adjustments needed to enhance the overall armor appearance, and we have nothing to add . Excellent job, head on out and make your garrison proud
  3. Hi Brittany thank you for your EIB application, lets jump into it. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All the required submission photos have been posted, and your armour meets all the necessary requirements for level 2. With that Tony and myself would like to welcome you to Expert Infantry, congratulations Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. What a great looking TK build!! very clean with excellent attention to detail, it's something to be proud of. The below very simple fixes are something we do like to see correct. These will have no bearing on any future approval but when shooting for Centurion, it is those tiny things that make a big difference, so lets start from the top and work our way down. 1. Vocoder: Anovos have made improvements detailing their helmets, but the Vocoder shape and edges still can use a little refining, to sharpen the shape. Reference Your shoulder bell to bridge gap can be brought down by shortening the top black elastic straps that connect the two. They should virtually if not touch at the very top. Reference The other item here is the type of screws used on your Thermal Det. These should be Pan head slotted, where i believe yours look like counter sunk or tapered head, slotted . Reference One other thing that was mentioned by your fellow troopers Addertime, was the Butt plate. I think the only thing you could do here would be to move your snap plate mounts out to just shy of the ends of the kidney and but. This will reduce the flare out on the ends and make a small difference to the overlapping. Centurion Suggestions: In this section we prepare you for Centurion. If there are any areas of concern this is where we discuss them. The one standout when we look at the back section of your armour is the overlap occurring from the bottom of the back plate over the kidney plate. Perfectly acceptable at EI but as per the level 3 CRL For level three certification (if applicable): Back plate shall have no, or minimal overlap of the kidney plate. reference The aim here would be to get the back plate to sit higher, and with a bit of trimming, its not a difficult mod. Looking from the inside of your back plate, you can trim the shoulder tabs back and re trim the neck provision, rather than having to trim the return edge from the bottom. I have marked the image to help explain what I am talking about. This will allow the plate to sit higher up than it currently can , so if the overlap is 3/4" then trim slightly less than that , tape and check. If its good, then rejoin your parts, if not trim a touch more. Well that is it Brittany, excellent application with only minor adjustments and fixes, then you are ready to rock Centurion. Congratulations and we hope to see you in Centurion review soon.
  4. it certainly is good enough well done. I will get onto your review shortly.
  5. There is one thing for sure Q, you never disappoint... Awesome work as always my friend. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  7. Hey Sam welcome and thank you for your EI application. Lets hit it!! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All submission photos have been posted except for your action shot. Can you please post this asap as it is needed in another part of our forums. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry. Welcome trooper! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. We have a couple minor suggestions to mention here. Such a crisp tidy build Sam, love it, another fine EI for Australia As your fellow troopers have mentioned, if you could bring that shoulder bell in just a smidge to balance out the gap, it will be perfect. reference Centurion Suggestions: Because Centurion photos show much more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here. We try to point out all we can from what is seen but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. This is also where we try and get you in the best possible position for a successful Centurion application. From what we can see, the only thing that stood out here was your drop boxes. They are in different positios across a few of the photos and need to be fixed in position and aligned with the ends of the plastic ammo belt. For level three certification (if applicable): Drop boxes are vertically aligned with the end of the ammo belt with minimal gap between belt and box. reference image Just for accuracy, not a deal breaker: As mentioned by Joseph, a nice touch would be to get some pan head, slotted screws for the thermal detonator reference Applying for Centurion is a no brainer for you mate, go over the Centurion photo check list to make sure you have everything you need, make those couple of small and easy mods, and we shall see you in Centurion review soon. Congratulations once again
  8. Nice work, thanks for the little corrections and your patience. Tony or myself will be with you as soon as possible.
  9. Hi Sam, thanks for your patience we will be with you as soon as possible. Great looking armour mate, well done.
  10. Sweet build Alberto, Tony or I will be with you as soon as possible. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Hey Michael Thank you for your EI application lets see what we have. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All submission photos have been posted. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry. Welcome to the rank trooper! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. Thank you for persevering with us and making the correction to have your side shims sit flush, great job We understand that PVC armour is a little different to work with compared to ABS, but there are products that can be used to fill gaps in PVC and plenty of info on the net, if you do decide to go for Centurion. The photos I posted above showing another members armour and side shim creation, is not done with ABS paste but a filler product which he then sands down and paints to match his armour. This is just one example. Overall your armour looks very nice and well built, awesome paint job on that helmet too. The shoulder bells could possibly come in just a touch more at the tops by shortening the elastic that attaches them to the shoulder bridges. Reference image Maybe if it is also possible tighten up the straps at the ends of the butt plate so they don't pop out as much. Centurion Suggestions: In this section we prepare you for Centurion. If there are any areas of concern they will be discussed here. The only thing for you my friend will be filling those seam lines on the kidney shims to meet the current CRL, plus a few extra photos that are needed in a level 3 application. Congratulations on a well deserved Expert Infantry badge
  12. Tha'ts it mate, exactly the fix we were looking for. Will get onto completing your review.
  13. The problem was not so much that the top edge was out, its the fact that your shims are mounted or glued behind the kidney plate. They need to be flush with it. If you glued another piece of ABS over the entire part that you can see on both sides, then the whole shim is flush with the outer surface. I am looking for an image that can explain it visually so it makes sense. Ok here we are.
  14. Hi Michael Before we go through the motions of your full review, there is something that stands out that will need to be address for a successful EI approval. Your armour looks great and the helmet paint job is fantastic, but your side shims will need to be installed correctly. As per the CRL for EIB we are efering to the last section I have underlined For level two certification (if applicable) Any shims used to achieve this effect are of a similar material and color as the abdomen and kidney armor. Shims fit flush and seams are allowed. The shims must sit flush with the surface of the kidney plate, where you currently have yours mounted behind. To mount the side shims flush, you can employ the same method as is used on the limbs, but joint and cover strip. In this case the cover strip is on the inside and not visible, the join is on the outside and is visible. This becomes what is called a seam, and does not need to be filled for EI, but will need to be for a future Centurion application. There are many build threads that show how to make the side shims, so have a read through some of them to get the right idea. Once you have made the correction, please post up a new left and right image and new close ups. Thanks again for your patience Michael, you are very close my friend, just this one modification and you are done.
  15. Hi Michael, sorry for the delay, we are looking at your armour and reviewing currently, wont be too much longer.
  16. Hey Fransisco, welcome to your Centurion review, lets have a look. CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required submission photos are present. Thank you for making the suggested adjustments and painting the helmet details, you look GREAT! Tony and I are happy to say your armor displays all the elements as set out in the Centurion CRL. We would like to congratulate and welcome you to the Centurion rank. Beautiful job on your build Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: The only suggestion we can make would be to tidy up some of the black surrounds on the tears, and the corners of the tube stripes. If you dip a toothpick in some Turpentine and scratch away at the small bleeds and paint runs , you should be able to straighten then a touch. Now it's time to head on out and troop as an approved Centurion, congratulations once again.
  17. Welcome back Jared, lets get into your Centurion review CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required photos have been submitted.Thank your for making those minor corrections suggested at EIB, very nice work Your armor now contains all necessary elements to qualify you for Centurion. Tony and I would like to congratulate and welcome you to the rank Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: You look fantastic mate, always a pleasure to review a well built RS prop set of armour Congratulations Centurion, head on out and make your garrison proud
  18. Hi Jen, thank you for your application for Centurion, lets get to it!! CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required photos are present. Thank you for making the suggested minor corrections, your armor meets all requirements as set out by the level 3 CRL. With that Ukswrath and myself would like to congratulate and welcome you to the Centurion ranks. Great job. Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: Nothing more to add., we are glad to see you back and thank you kindly for adjusting the butt plate Congratulations and head on out Centurion
  19. Thank you, wont be too much longer.
  20. Thanks Francisco, I'm almost ready to go, but can I check with you that the other forearm is also trimmed the same. If not please trim it up and post an image of that one. Soon as I have seen it I will post up your review. Many thanks for your patience.
  21. Hi Jared, looking very impressive my friend. One little thing, looks like there is still some material that can be trimmed out on the wrist end of your fore arms. If you could have a look at that for us, and give it a little trim up, we can proceed with your review. CRL For level three certification (if applicable): No return edge on the inside of the front of the forearm is allowed. reference image
  22. Anovos have made improvements based on feedback from command staff. Our fearless leader had the conversation with them earlier this year. I for one and glad to see they are listening. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. Hi Francisco We can see there is still some return edge left on the wrist ends of your fore arms. Can you please trim it out and submit new photos of them. Thank you As per CRL For level three certification (if applicable): No return edge on the inside of the front of the forearm is allowed. reference image
  24. Hi Jared, thank you for your EIB application. Let's see what we have!! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required submission photos posted. Nice application and great pics! Thank you. Your armor demonstrates all the necessary elements required for EIB. With that I both congratulate and welcome you to the rank of Expert Infantry!! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section, we review suggestions made by your fellow troopers and our own observations. All go towards improving the final look of your armor. If there is anything that would affect a future Centurion application it will be mentioned in that section at the bottom. What a beautiful build with great attention to detail, you are to be commended Sir well done Centurion Suggestions: The ultimate accuracy of Centurion is up to the applicant, in this section we do our best to prepare you for the road to Level 3. It is very apparent that from the beginning you were aiming for Centurion. It was obvious from the beginning, you were aiming for Centurion and with one tiny modification and one finishing touch, Centurion will be yours. Both of these will take you mere moments to address so here they are. As per Level 3 CRL For level three certification (if applicable): Drop boxes are vertically aligned with the end of the ammo belt with minimal gap between belt and box. Maybe some adhesive Velcro or a small dab of glue will secure the straps in place so they always sit perfectly aligned at the ends of the plastic ammo belt. Reference image This one is simply for accuracy sake, and with armor that looks as good as yours does, it would be a shame not to paint these screw heads black as they were in the film. Reference image Well Jared, that's all she wrote. Excellent build, fantastic photos and your Garrison should be very proud to march along side of you, I know i would be. Congratulations Trooper, see you in Centurion review.
