  1. Hey, im sure you've seen it but here's some guys armor and what he did with his helmet. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/27629-infecting-walker-stalker-boston/
  2. My brother and I went with AM, and I just read that this run is sold out so you are not alone in getting one. We should be able to see a lot more AM armor builds coming in. Im not the type to post my progress but im going to do my best to do so. The only thing you should worry about is the building, that's where i'm at. Im wigging out every day closer to shipment.
  3. Just wanted to wish a happy fathers day to all the dads out there.
  4. Yea I agree with Tim, just do a search for "requesting" and you will see a lot of submissions with the armor tags. just gona take a bit of searching to find some one close to your body type. Also theres this post under getting started: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/12693-which-armour-is-better-for-a-bigger-trooper-read-here/
  5. This is gona be sick!! I was wanting to do something like this after my first build or two. Why dont you try asking around to see if anyone has broken parts they are willing to give you. Good luck, ill be following.
  6. How could you go to work after something as exciting as this?! Should have called in and said you have the McBubblies.
  7. That thing is sold out
  8. Hey Tim, Sometimes those tags don't work, i've tried searching them and it will come back with nothing . The worst part is when searching for just "AM" it gives you almost every posting on the forums because people reply in the morning or there's an "am" in a word. Ron's method works more effectively with just google searching it.
  9. Here's Pandatrooper's: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/10434-pandatroopers-am-build-threadam/ Please post if you find anything else, im expecting mine this month as well.
  10. Thanks for the help and suggestions, everyone.
  11. Hey Everyone, I'm currently working on the bolt and handle and need some help. I just got done sanding out a wider opening for the handle to fit through, now I need help with attaching it to the bolt. Im wanting to use it for trooping, so i'm assuming I should screw it on. Any ideas on how and what type of screw? Removing that extra piece at the bottom of the handle will make it look very small with the thickness of the tube, so I would like to keep it. unless you guys dont think it looks good with it. Thanks for your help.
  12. LOL. Well the second link should be a big hint on not getting it. They photoshoped the left side of the helmet (3rd pic)
  13. Even though you've already started, is it possible to take video while building? Dont see many of those around.
  14. I get a lot of my running gear from Ross or Marshals, they always have compression gear for dirt cheap the last one I got was $2.00
  15. Just look at other members builds or ones where they are trying to get approved.
  16. Have you tried contacting ebay to see if they can do something about it?----------------- Also, try contacting one of the makers here directly and see if they've ran into this sort of problem and what they did.
  17. Have you tried contacting someone from the even and see if they had a person in charge of Lost and Found? It's worth a try.
  18. Id rather spend that on a couple of some vader helmet art. Wish I had the $ to buy some from my favorite artists like Huck Gee, David Flores, Jeff Soto, Jesse Hernandez, Mars -1, and Buff Monster. http://www.totalfilm.com/features/100-amazing-darth-vader-helmets
  19. What about these boots? Its a bit pricey but if you need them ASAP and don't want to dye them -------------
  20. I hope I dont Sound like Smalls from The Sandlot, but who is AM? This post talks about him but doesnt have the info (or I didn't see it) like the others. can someone shoot me his/her contact info.
  21. Since im on a 6 month waiting list for my armor, I thought id brouse around and throw my 2 cents in. First and foremost, this is what worked for me, understand that it may not be for everyone. After High School I got to 230pnds where I weighed 160. The GYM wasnt cutting it, I wasn't into picking things up and putting them down. I started getting into running of all things, after work it was a good stress relief. I went from doing a mile which I never did to doing the L.A. Marathon (this was in a year's period of time). What actually helped me is finding something I found interesting and kept switching it up. The marathon was a 1 time thing for me, it was brutal but very rewarding. I switched to doing fun running like obsticle courses - The Warrior Dash, Tough Mudder, then Spartan Race (there's easyer ones like Run or Dye, Zombie Run etc.). These were cool because you got to do them with friends or by yourself. The race itself in prospective is not whats important (very fun though), the fact that you are training and eating right for it, is. After this I jumped to Jiu-jitsu, it was a giant leap but all in all it is fun, most importantly I lost a lot of weight. The first thing that may come to mind is Karate Kid where the guys were assholes and you dont fit in, however its the total oposite. People are very nice, you learn at your own pace and best of all you meet new people. it's of all ages, weight classes and gender ( Ed O'Neill aka Al Bundy is a black belt in it). It also helps to know that you dont need to get in shape before you join. Find something to do besides standing still, you dont even need to do it every day, I train 3x a week sometimes I hike or run on sundays. Lastly, Eat 3 complete meals and 3 snacks and go to sleep on time (yes a cheat meal a week is ok). Reply or pm me if you have any questions. I hope I helped a bit. Best of luck everyone.
