  1. Scootch has done me a good turn with a partial refund having viewed better photos of my complaint. I accept this and hope we can do business again in the future as where the armour is concerned I think it is brilliant
  2. I only aired on here as I felt I wasn't getting resolution. As mentioned I have never questioned what it has been casted from, only the quality in that it is too thin, has little definition for the decals to be placed and the nasty crease on the back part but every time I advised of this I was given the same response in that it is standard and correct. The armour is great and the postage refund was gentlemanly when I got hit with customs tax but the way in which the helmet issues have been handled I felt was less than satisfactory. Any trooper who recieved what I did in the pics above would of had the same complaint. Again the complaint is not what it is cast from but the quality of the material and it's finish.
  3. All I wanted was some resolution but I felt I was not getting it which is why I wanted people's opinions on the matter. I might seem like I'm bashing scootch but I really just wanted to do something where he would think maybe this guy is right after all.
  4. I've logged a case with eBay and sent countless mails but the guy just won't see the wrong in the cast
  5. His ad looked like the real deal, check him out. I mean the armour is great but that helmet. How he things it would get accepted by any organisation is beyond me. It's awful. He won't send me another out unless I pay and send him this one. Then he said that I'd only get the same! He honestly believes it's accurate and fine
  6. Any eBay seller named 'fatsakursen'. No matter what I say or how many pics I send I just get told its correct and matches the cap / te casts and white armour / 501st approve. He won't accept the quality is awful
  7. I have received a 2-piece helmet as part of my TK armour set and while the armour is perfect the helmet is of poor quality paper thin plastic. The plastic has bubbles and bobbles and the areas where the decals go are not defined. I cannot sand due to the poor quality plastic and how thin it is. Also the back part of the helmet has two very large indented creases which are just awful. I can practically poke through it all with my finger. The seller won't budge on a replacement. He says it is 501st approved and white armour approved. That may be, the cast most certainly is but the quality would never pass. He says regardless of my complaint it is moulded from te te2 and cap so the imperfections are correct? Really? He doesn't get that the moulds/casts may be correct but the way he has done it is totally unacceptable. Any help?
