These are great, but someone will need to photoshop out the backgrounds still. Actually we really only need one the first two shots, but they have to have nothing in the background. I'm not sure how the PI team did it so perfect out the gate - may want to PM Kit?

Yes, just a busy work day. No, I think the beveled edges will stay - they are very unique to this costume.

Not a dedicated one. Usually people just post them to their personal OneDrive, Dropbox, etc. I'd suggest taking one or two and we can validate the format is what we need, then take the rest.

FYI, the request was posted to the GML "no CRL" on the Legion board. The long pole will be getting photos of each part we can use. Text is very easy to do.

FYI you can cut down the top of the kidney as it's OK to have a gap. I'd also put a little padding under the shoulder bells so they stick out a bit, and cut down the bottom of the chest to show more ab plate. Your forearms look wider than your biceps/shoulders, so try to make them look equally the same size vs. making the biceps as small as you can (I used to have to put padding in my biceps from time to time). Weathering is good. I think everyone is speaking to Walt about making a larger helmet, and there are some other small adjustments to his molds, but these are not your issue.

Here is what I noticed on the latest applicant: Ab plate: left side buttons should be lower down from the top of the ab plate. Belt center detail should be oval, not circular. Thigh ammo pack on right should be a little taller in length. Otherwise it's looking really good. To get a CRL ready, we need clear pictures of each part on a white background. Can you get these? It's like the ones Jim/PI Garrison did for the R1 TK here: http://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TK_rogue_one I ask this as we can write up a CRL all we want, but without pictures of the parts we go nowhere.

OK, time to resurrect this since someone is working on approval at the Legion level. I've basically ignored this since there hasn't been an applicant, but will be reviewing it in detail now that we'll need a CRL in. I've read through what has come before and will start working on a CRL wiki entry this weekend, just like we did for the TLJ, TLJ-E, and R1.

Honestly, if they look really close like John Danter's did, they should be fine for 99% of the troops you do *after* you join the Legion. I would use the regular ears to get your Legion acceptance first though.

Hey Henry question back to you before I update the CRL. How many of these details do you think should be in L2/L3 vs. L1? for instance if I broke it down: L1 item 1 Item 2 L2 Item 3 Item 4 L3 Item 5 Item 6 What do you think would make sense?

For me, I don't see it. Maybe people with different eyes do.

Hey Henry, That's a hit on my part. The CRL was started ages ago (15 months actually) and as you note it's been 6 months since your reference thread was posted. The truth is that the CRL just languished and been neglected since we couldn't move it forward without pictures of the armor proper. It's only in the past week since getting photos from the PI garrison that we were able to dust it off and push it over the finish line. I'm sorry that you didn't get the recognition for all the research you did and will update the CRL based on the text you wrote, just like we'll update the CRL photo once we get a clean shot of one against a pure white background I can post. Usually as staff we do a good job of handing off and coordinating work, especially given the amount of staff tur-over that occurs each year and transitions post-elections. Unfortunately this is one of those times where due to how long this CRL has taken to go from start to finish and changes in who is doing what, these older posts just got missed. In addition to updating the CRL today, I'll also update the relevant announcements to ensure that you are given the proper credit for all the work you did.

Thanks - I fixed that as well. Not sure how to fully write out the other items that should be on an L3 blaster, so input is helpful.

Fixed. CRLs are always using right/left as if you are wearing the costume.

Well, I don't think it's the influx of crappy boots either, it's all about economics and as you guys note, shipping.

What was it based off of then? I can update it easily. I think we just copied/pasted from the ANH Stunt on this.
