  1. Looking good Spencer. One question. Have you worn the full kit in a walk about situation? It looks like you have a lot of material that can be removed at the back/bottom of the thighs. Do the same at the back/top of the shins and you'll be doing stairs in no time.
  2. I wear a 7 3/4" fitted hat and I fit my ATA with fans and hearing assist. It has to go on sideways but it fits.
  3. I believe the rim of the mic tip is white, along with the inside. Basically stand them up on a flat surface and paint the outside is how I did mine.
  4. Yeah Karl!!!! Well done brother!!
  5. Hey Spencer, first off let me apologize for inadvertently steering you wrong there. The CRL is a little grey in that area. The good news is that in this world of white plastic spacemen all of our pieces are replaceable. Get a quote from Mark and I'll shoot you some cash so you can have another go at it. Now I'm questioning if I did mine correctly. Anyways, offer stands buddy. J Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Is this the first Anovos EIB? Good luck trooper but I don't think you'll need it.
  7. Square is "Right", Rounded is "Left"
  8. Way to go!!! EIB!! Meet you at the finish line Trooper!
  9. Just reading what I wrote and I mis spoke when I said to look at the chest ab horizontally and remove plastic from the AB. It should be removed from the CHEST return edge!!!
  10. That left shin is a much tighter fit than the right
  11. That's a tricky question as there is no CRL when it comes to mandatory return edges I think. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the only rule on return edges is NONE allowed on the wrist side of the forearm. Everything else is a comfort fit. Depending on your size and Armor choice you may add or remove return edges to make your Armor fit you! I would recommend minimal 2 or 3mm in the neck to 0mm by the time it hits your shoulder extensions. As for your Chest to Ab... Look at it horizontally, and remove plastic from the Ab where the two meet. Repeat process a few times and they will lay flat keeping as much return edge as you can. Hope it helps.
  12. I put the Tapatalk app on my iPad and when I post through that it fixed the same problem.
  13. Hold the kidney plate vertical and place the back plate on top of it, leaning it back about 20 degrees or so. If it doesn't look right, flip the kidney plate over. One of the two options will look much better. Go with that.
  14. It should be big enough to flex without busting your tape. Snug is ok. I would also maybe suggest that you trim the front side "flat raised ridges" to the proper width (just over 8mm) to receive the 16mm cover strip. If that makes sense?
  15. Welcome to the ranks Trooper. Congrats!!
  16. Nice build James. Great work with the paste!! Love your E-11. It looks like you have a tiny bit of return edge remaining on the dimpled ridge of the fore arm wrist edge. Simple trim job and it should be an easy pass. Again nice job!
  17. Great looking kit you have there. If you could hit those thermal detonator screw heads with a touch of black paint and post a picture, I'm sure the guys would appreciate it.
  18. A little hard to tell from the photo, but if you can feel any rolled edge I would remove it. Also keep in mind that the right fore arm is much bigger than the left when it come to fitting.
  19. Notch is in the shim.
  20. I got my ABS shim material from Terrell at [email protected] as for the paste I mixed tiny pieces of ABS trimmings with Acetone. When it resembles "toothpaste" use a Popsicle stick to fill the seam. Let dry 24 hours and sand away. I went from 60grit to 180 to 320 to 1000. Follow up with Novus 1 2 and 3 and you are done. 21. Remove all of the return edge!! It will be just the 2mm of ABS yes. Wrist side only.
