  1. Hey Mark, I'm sorry to hear about your near death experience. Thank God you made it. The world wouldn't be the same without your fantastic vinyl cut trooper accessories. Besides we would sure miss you at the FISD. Get well soon. I hope we can troop together some day. -John
  2. Fantastic Scott!!!! Praise the lord for sure. You guys take care. We'll keep praying for a speedy recovery. -John
  3. Those look great. Did you make your own mannequins or did you buy them?
  4. I'm seeing a TK bagpipe regiment! What do you think? Kilts?
  5. Hey Chris, do you have any pictures of your set up? I'm really interested in that Bolun wireless mic.
  6. Scott, all my prayers to Melissa and your family. Take care. -John
  7. Are you planning on milling your brow trim on the helmet? You might want to remove that and add it on as a true rubber brow trim. You should probably do the same with the Hovi's. It's looking better every time you post. -John
  8. Wow... I'm speechless. Looks like he's having fun but.....I wonder what the E-11 is recast from?
  9. That's for sure. I bet you would be hard pressed to find two that looked alike. Generally the originals look like they were assembled during an all nighter pub party. The assembly crew didn't have a gram of the experience you guys have assembling stormtroopers. With that said, any replica is going to be an approximation. Even if it's made from a digital scan from the best surviving original that has been laying around for 32 years warping and discoloring. Those Master Replica boys did alright. That's a fine looking helmet for mass production. Thanks for posting those pictures. It's really cool seeing them all together like that.
  10. Is that what they did with the LE? I thought it had it's funky asemetry intact.
  11. That sucks. I hope your kids are ok. I've never been in a hit and run but I've run into my share of good and bad cops.
  12. I have a pair of Dan111h20 boots. The guy is great to deal with. The boots I got from him are a little square in the toe. It might just be my size 13. Let the giant feet jokes begin.... I'll post a picture of them later today. I'd really be interested in your feedback. Too bad about CA boots. -John
  13. Nice work. I guess I'm going to have to do the ears on mine. That looks great.
  14. Very cool. You can never have enough.
  15. Yeah, It's hard to believe that is a licensed product. Even makes the Don Post helmets look good.
  16. If you use silicone you will not have a problem with the part sticking. No release agents are needed. Fiberglass resin would be a different story. Are you planning on duplicating a vacuum molded ABS part?
  17. Good one. Thanks for sharing.
  18. With all this expertise you're going to end up with a great project.
  19. Here's a pretty good reference for measurements: http://www.studiocreations.com/howto/motm_...ents/index.html
  20. It's not an MRCE. I'm sitting here looking at mine and the ears are all wrong. The indents above the brow aren't as deep as the MRCE also there doesn't appear to be a seam along the corners of the mouth. Curious. I wonder if it's one of the Disney made lids. There was a brief mention of Disney made armor on the 501st podcast recently. I'm hardly an expert though. Interesting mystery.
  21. Sorry to hear that Mike. I guess the big Guy has something else in mind for you. Hang in there. -John
  22. Very nice. You can never have too many lids.
  23. Hey Nathan, Glad you made it. Welcome to the saved by the helmet club. Take Care, Heal fast. -John
  24. Sorry to hear about your job Steve. It's amazing how fast everything is spiraling down the tube. My companies stock is worth half of what it was a month ago. Hang in there. there's got to be something better out there. -John
