  1. I don't think it's a picatinny rail. I agree its a rail lookalike but saying picatinny requires it to have side slides and ours don't. If anything its a longitudinal antislide maglock surface .
  2. The entire point of a uniform is uniformity of basics. Every solder looks the same. Collar dogs and shoulder flashes and placement of element Id. Their names in the same spot. Unless every tk in your garrison sports a tkid on their shoulder it looks out of place. Personally it should go on the back of the helm and the right chest bump.
  3. Have you tried polishing it first? Novus 1 polish.
  4. Outside in the sun its very shiny.
  5. Yeah I know. And I walked around like that for five minutes armour bites like mad...it was cold and i stumbled and figured I'd cracked something. Nope. Just the shin riding up. Short boots. Any suggestions...i was going to try calf stirrups...won't show up but will pull armour down...or Velcro.
  6. The only comment I can ad is please god tell me you got the pm from EP vii to sign your tfa somewhere....
  7. I thought about putting a rc car battery in one with the lead inside webbing and armour to power fans and then decided not worth the effort.
  8. Scuba diving. Photography. Underwater photography. I have a 3000.00 flashlight.
  9. We don't have finished costumes. We don't have boots. Simple. Until the lmo says we have a finished costume why rush it. I can wait for boots. I'll bet half the 75 haven't touched their rubber gaskets yet...
  10. For what built? Holster is needed for basic trooper but not for hwt for example. Rifle is never needed for basic approval but is needed for eib or centurion.
  11. OK. So. What's the deal with the inner thighs....total not seamless...
  12. Free high fives. Free hugs. Free smiles. Free terrified kids and animals. Free comraderie. Free armor bites.
  13. I'm Betting Phasma is a propaganda holocron that doesn't actually appear much until the second movie....more like a motivational character, or a Hero from the Past who shows up and dies in flashback. That said... I would honestly rather not release the CRL in any official form until december 19th. Early Giftmas present. And also don't push, care, or glamorize who makes it in first. Release them en masse once the LMO and GML's get their tonnes of influx. My garrison should be easy but you folks with 100 plus members might actually have double digit applications. *THAT* said...i really would like the crl to be released to the first 75 (and second 150) early so we can make sure we've got what it takes. I don't want to be the first Failed application in the legion.
  14. All I could suggest is a mid seam piece of plastic to increase the rigidity of the area slightly. One thing to consider is the type of bondo. I can't by the flexible general purpose stuff in Canada. Just the rest cap bullet proof stuff that seems to crack. I'm going to use plastic surgery flexible epoxy filler and semy rigid. Seems to want to work better. I'm not big so the chest yokes fit OK. Anyone larger I can see having fit and flex issues.
  15. Just buy a set of completed armour from ap. He's Canadian and you can find his info in the getting started area.
  16. Depends on what they do to it. I don't recall any femme armour in anh. If anovos is making it smaller in size and shape ...I know a few shorter troopers wearing anh armour just fine.
  17. Yes. If your gut exceeds your chest, if your hips exceed your guy, you will need a massive rear shim or a very large corset attachment. The chest plate itself is also sculpted to fit a certain way.

  19. You filled the gaps with ca glue? Even on the overlaps?
  20. Personally I think the CRL needs to be exacting to the point of preventing the disappointment of people buying the wrong stuff. Put strap info and Velcro info and screws and stuff in the CRL. Lead the charge. Troopers helping troopers. First to the fight. Then people can go to their hardware salad fabric store and ask for number 6 metric hex bolts 26mm long and non adhesive Velcro this wide and eleastic this wide. Want more Stormie's? Make it impossible to be told no that's wrong. Making the CRL child's play might get more people buying kits...but they won't finish them. And it will keep third party abuse down. Can't undersell the license holder if you have to spend hundreds of hours finessing your knock off kit. Anovos should sell a strapping kit with everything you need to wear this ...and spares...
