Was that part really a flash hider used on the original blasters or a found part from something else? Sorry I don't know much regarding the Luke and Han blaster parts.

Rogue One Tank Trooper (Hovertank Trooper) Build Thread
Bulldog44 replied to Quinn's topic in Other 501st Costumes
Looking awesome! Can't wait to see this when its finished. Keep posting your progress. -
I found some black 5mmOD tubing used for fish tank filters at my local home center. It looks like it will work well and its flat black like an electrical cable. I found that if I ran an additional thinner tuber through the black tube I could get the wrapped part with a decent looking profile. Also I am experimenting with running aluminum wire through the tube so the part where it wraps around the pole will stay in place with the correct profile. Another attempt was buying actual black cable wire and pull out the dual, wires inside but this did not work well and I had to abandon the idea. The cable looks better but it would require a lot of work to pull those wires out. Just thought to share what I found.

Imperial Embassies section font issue
Bulldog44 replied to Bulldog44's topic in Forum Help & Support
Thanks guys for help exploring the problem. I tested using Japanese and it does work to post but the actual embassy section heading looks horrible and won't be helpful for Japanese members who visit. Hope that can be easily edited by the tech team. Maybe a quick cut and paste.
Appreciate your help! -

Thanks for confirming this Christoph. Hoping to hear from the tech team why this has happened and if they can fix it. -
Imperial Embassies section font issue

Can someone confirm if they also cannot view the Japanese characters in the embassy section? I am able to properly view the Chinese characters under the Chinese embassy section but no luck under the Japanese embassy. -
TK22102 reporting for duty!
Bulldog44 replied to kira47's topic in Newly Approved Members - Sound Off!
Welcome to the legion! Sorry I said that about 4 times already in every post you made here and on the Japan forum, but truly congrats! And that's great advice you give for current and potentially new applicants. -
Not sure if this is a local tech issue with my PC settings or something to do with the actual site /hosting, but I cannot view the Japanese font in the embassy section. Since the site server upgrade a long while back, the Japanese font is no longer readable. Is there a language patch that needs to be installed on the main server side? Hoping to encourage my garrison members to come on here more often and have a place to post questions or comments in Japanese. Thanks.

Awesome! Congratulations Akira! Welcome to the legion and wish you many happy troops ahead! Happy I could be of help, wish I could have helped more. Sorry for my getting back to you quicker at times. Your armor looks great and I highly suggest applying for centurion.
Looking forward to meeting you soon and troop with you. Not sure if you have been on the Japan forum much yet but check out the events coming up.

Great to see you are out and about in your armor already. Happy Halloween by the way! -
Wow, that is a tall order.2.25 days? I would just get some elastics and some strong industrial velcro for the strapping. Just glue the elastics to the Velcro and stick it on. Easy to remove after. It should hold up for a party I would think.

If you run out of time with the blaster, buy a nerf gun and spray it up black. I would rather take my time with the blaster.

Hope that helps a bit.

Good luck!

Rogue One Stormtrooper Back Pack part found
Bulldog44 replied to Sly11's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Sorry I didnt check my spelling. I meant parts. -
Thanks Henry. Super helpful for ordering. I already bought the alice pack with correct shoulder straps, ordered the ammo box & frame the other day. The cost of building this pack is really starting to hurt. Sorry guys for hijacking this thread with my ordering inquiry. If possible, I would like to hear your thoughts on the antennae top cap.Is it already part of the fishing rod? Also what size or type of black tubing do you think they used?

If you find that using Velcro does not keep the calves sealed when you walk around you can always switch to the original hook system. But Velcro should be fine as long as it is the good stuff. Actually I found that the Velcro sold at the 100 yen shop used to hang TV remotes to surfaces works well. Not great but decent.
Did you get the kidney plate and posterior plate to line up better? It may take a few times trying the armor on and making adjustments to the straps. I still have to make minor adjustments to get the parts to line up, especially the thighs. -
Rogue One Stormtrooper Back Pack part found
Bulldog44 replied to Sly11's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Thanks Henry for the useful info on the strapping and buckles. Already the antique brass gliders say out of stock- just my luck! I might be able to get the same cotton straps at a local shop but I will have to order the cam buckles. Now I hope we can nail down what the sleeping bag thing really is. Do you think it is a sleeping bag? Or tent slip cover? -
The counter metal parts look amazing!

KCP First Order F-11D Studio Replica Blaster

There seems to be a horrible curse on most of the F-11D projects, most of them plagued with problems and setbacks. Really hoping Ken can prove that wrong. -

Bulldog44 replied to kira47's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Looks good. Try either adjusting the straps at the shoulders to move the back plate up a bit or check if there is too much slack on the straps that connect the back plate and kidney plate. Almost there! For basic approval I don't think the overlap will be a problem but for EIB and Centurion it will need to be positioned properly. What will you use to close the calves? -

Thanks for sharing this! Wish I could just produce a new set of armor like that whenever I want. -
Fantastic research and thank you guys for sharing this knowledge. I feel like a freshman sitting in on my first class of Rogue One Trooping 101. I tried as well to find out more but never found much. Keep the info rolling on this pack. Lots still to uncover and learn. If you get any more leads on the upper rolled blanket on the pack and what type of straps please inform us. Thanks again for all your time and research!
