I noticed the links for the proposed amendments to the Centurion requirements in this months mag, the only problem is as I am not approved I can not access the links. I would like to know as many others would, what is proposed to be changed. After reasearching solidly for the last 3 months I pretty much have organised everything I will need for Centurion requirements and now are a bit worried I will have to change some things. Would it not have been better to make a new level to aim for with extra changes rather than changing Centurion requirements, will everyone who is Centurion approved now have to make these changes or are the changes just minor ones?

I used black silastic, thought it would be good to use something the same colour as the gloves and is still quite strong but flexible, have had them on a few times and it doesn't look like they are going to come apart . Might just add that I scuffed the gloves and guards with some 80 grit sandpaper to give the silastic something extra to grip too.

A few details pieces done Using some reticulation dripper pipe for the barrel detailing, easy to bend when heated, then tape it to the barrel to hold it's shape until it cools, gives me time to do the blue wire twist .

So I'm not the only one that can't stop building LOL

OMG that sucks big time, bet there was a few words thrown around loudly. Hope there is not too much damage, if you need too you could use some 1200 grit wet and dry paper with soapy water to help take some of the uneveness out then go over with the polish. Good luck hope you have a win

Few more bits done, top section all sanded and glued Cut and modified some pipe to make the outer rings, had to enlarge one and reduce another, also found a couple of O rings for some of the finer detailing Used pieces from two coupling to make the front section and taper All the pieces on the pipe, think I will paint them all seperately and assemble later with a dab of silicon to hold them in case I want to change any pieces later.

Thanks but not much to this one, much easier than an E-11 Found a couple of water fittings, had hexagon heads so had to turn them down on a friends lathe, then used a file to make the knurl effect This was the only ribbed pipe I could find Was 30 mm too narrow so what I did was slice it down the middle, cut some sections out of the off cut then glued and siliconed them in. And this is what I have so far

Would be more comfortable too, maybe less sweating

Just a few more pieces done Made some spacers to take up the gap between the tubes and added the tapered section

I did the same, just drilled a slightly smaller hole than used the bolt to tap the thread. Most say not to use hammer finish but it's up to you what end result you will be happy with

Fibreglass has a really strong smell, have a window open when using it

Naw not much to this one, looks easier than E-11, but will be adding lights and sound. Hope my use of clamps was sufficient LOL

Doopy doos are fine, curved it normaly what they are, I have made some from aluminium and plastic. Just make sure you glue them on the right way lol

Looking good, sometimes you need to use a little heat for those stubborn pieces of armor

No even if you mod straight away to centurion standards you have to apply for EIB first and when approved you can apply for Centurion

So still waiting for armor and done as much as I can up until now, two blasters made so I thought I would give a T-21 a go. Unlike the E-11's most of the materials for this build I have around the place or I can get for next to nothing. Found lots of info and some templates so hold on here I go. Marking out first, measure twice, cut one Now to start glueing a few pieces together Now to glue a few of the wood pieces, wonder if I have enough clamps, wonder who I could ask LOL
