  1. Looking good, sometimes you need to use a little heat for those stubborn pieces of armor
  2. Very nice now go blast something
  3. Hows the fibreglass fumes going Karin, bit different to latex lol
  4. No even if you mod straight away to centurion standards you have to apply for EIB first and when approved you can apply for Centurion
  5. Ahhhhh the brown box, very jealous, enjoy
  6. So still waiting for armor and done as much as I can up until now, two blasters made so I thought I would give a T-21 a go. Unlike the E-11's most of the materials for this build I have around the place or I can get for next to nothing. Found lots of info and some templates so hold on here I go. Marking out first, measure twice, cut one Now to start glueing a few pieces together Now to glue a few of the wood pieces, wonder if I have enough clamps, wonder who I could ask LOL
  7. Looking good well done trooper
  8. Congats, good luck on centurion
  9. Nice work there, good luck with eib approval
  10. Just checking, I vaguely remember reading about the spacing of the shoulder straps on the front chest, am I right in thinking the spacing is 4 1/2 ridges ?
  11. It may be a hi-bright led, you make be able to get a duller one or even add a resister to the led to reduce the power to it
  12. My ATA I have to put it on sideways then screw it straight. I have two fans, two speakers, sound board and three batteries, it is a tight fit but if you place everything in the recessed areas you can still fit in. Good luck
  13. I'm glad to see that troopers helping troopers also extends to those in need, well done everyone
  14. Use the clamps, I mean the force lol
  15. If I had thought earlier I would have started another costume first, like the idea of a imperial officer. Started making a mannequin so that is keeping me sane for now, just need to do a bit of foam work and get the hands to clamp
  16. Good luck with the weathering (or yer SIR) lol
  17. Well done
  18. I painted mine in silver, left a day to dry then went over with a satin black spray, leave to dry for another day the I used steel wool on the edges and areas that would be worn, ie: where the hands would hold, putting into holster, as if it had been knocked or chipped being dropped or placed down. Once I was happy with the weathering I used a satin clear to lock the weathering so it will not change, If I didn't eventually the siver would wear off and you would see the white pvc. BTW it was mentioned to me not to weather the hand grip as the original ones were plastic so wouldn't weather, just paint gloss black. Have a look at my build theads for my results, links in my signature, bit hard to see clearly but will give you an idea. Good luck with yours
  19. Funny way to probe, she is not the droid he is looking for
  20. Just a tip, steel wool well for weathering, youv'e probably finished it by now lol
  21. Sorry can't help you with this one I made my own, similar to yours but I cut a groove in the shaft so it slid along the slotted section of the barrel, the circle section sitting under the barrel.
