  1. If you are going to primer again I'd use 240 grit, if not I'd use a 400 grit paper.
  2. I'd watch how much weight you are adding, my neck gets sore with a standard bucket
  3. Easy way is a paint stripper but I would try on some test pieces first. You can sand it using wet and dry sand paper and soapy water, the paper will last longer and the soapy water makes it easier to sand.
  4. Hello and welcome aboard
  5. Someone posted them the other day
  6. Have you checked this thread http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/
  7. Hello and welcome aboard
  8. Congrats and welcome to the ranks trooper
  9. There are a few differences, they are thinner, slightly more rounded on the end, only 5 ribs on the black section, the white section is not segmented like OT Sandtrooper and there does not seem to be a strap running under the arm to hold it down. I think this one will have to be a wait and see, unless more previews come out.
  10. Another great read, thanks all
  11. Congrats and welcome to the ranks trooper
  12. Hello and welcome aboard, Anovos is new to the game and as yet has not supplied any TK armor to the public, they are due December I believe. A list of vetted sellers can be found in the Getting Started section
  13. Nice work could also use hinges and magnets
  14. Thanks guys Masked and first coat of white applied
  15. I haven't really had a problem so far, I make sure I have a break when I feel I need too, top up on fluids and fill up on fresh air
  16. Congrats and well done
  17. I spent 6 months researching, downloaded so many build threads and photos, hate to think how many hours and how much internet usage
  18. Primer applied, sanded and then a coat of black
  19. E7-11 sounds good to me
  20. I'm just using the electronics from a $5 toy machine gun, any gun will do as long as the sound is ok. I just add a high bright LED to the - neg side of the battery and the other to the + pos side of the push switch, gives the LED full power and not reduced through the board. The rectangle side LED's run from the + power to a switch then to the sound board. The amp jack just runs two wires to the speaker. The other problem is the colour of the LED, not sure what it should be at this stag, I tossed a coin It's not too hard to wire up, if I could get my hands on more guns I would put kits together but they are scarce here. I've seen a few different combo's of how the blasters should attach to the leg mount but I think they are just fitted with two screws on the side, can just make them out in this photo. They just slide down and grab on the holster mount.
  21. The LMO has posted on the 501st GML section "Please do not start approving costumes until you have the official LMO clearance."
  22. Thanks guys Decided to change the flash hider as it just looks too small (thanks Zebedee). I looked at using the hider from a Rubies DL-44 but it was too big, then I found an old plastic funnel tip. Cut down to size and holes drawn Drilled and fitted Also trimmed down the trigger a little Example blaster
