  1. I'm using IMGUR, no issues so far
  2. Yes a few names out there but nothing official I don't think. I'll be using the blue EL wire as same as I did on my baton Yes thank you I did notice, top isn't mounted as yet I left the top loose until I've worked out the blade attachments , also can just make out the slots of the magazine, seems to be a lever and another small section too. I believe from images I have seen that the blades are only offset so they will over lap each other once closed, more like this.
  3. Thought I'd have a go at one of these in case LFL pull the plug on blasters again this year for the EPVIII premier, won't be 100% accurate as there are limited images and I'm building it "old school" so definitely will be basic. It may still go pew pew though, depends on what you have noticed in the limited images available ;). Started with the sizing of the blades On to the main tube and working out the slotted holes On to the blades, had to cut double the amount as I didn't have the right thickness material, then glued them together Some details on the shaft Centre sections of the blades and covers, then glue Detail sections, made one then cast and made from plastic resin Next will be work out the attachment of the blades and if I can make it folding
  4. I can see it. I use IMGUR, just upload, copy link and past into your post, not too hard
  5. Looking forward to the progress, haven't built a new costume for a while
  6. Congrats and welcome to the ranks trooper

  9. Hello and welcome aboard
  10. Proud to have one of our local troopers approved for EIB. Troopers Assisted: 1. TK-98311 Heinous https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/41307-tk98311-requesting-anh-stunt-eib-status-ap-735/?page=1
  11. Clear coat will just give some depth to the shine, really depends what paint you use, for my FOTK which has to be painted I used automotive paint which you can either clear coat or not, I do prefer the clear coat finish and easier to buff off scratches. If you don't clear coat the more you buff the paint the thinner it will get.
  12. No issues at all, I use one with my Hero
  13. E6000 is pretty strong once dried (usually leave at least 24hrs). For the shoulder straps not a problem but for other strapping on armor I would suggest using snaps and plates glued on with elastic attached to those, I've had a couple of straps stretch over time and it's easy to change them out with snaps attached
  14. Nice find, definitely is showing the yoke colored black
  15. Congratulations and welcome to the ranks
  16. Congratulations and welcome to the ranks
  17. Progress is coming along nicely. I must say I've not noticed the doubled up pouch trooper, I'd say it was a costume mistake
  18. It's really a question for your GML (garrison membership liaison) some are harder than others on costume approvals. I would say though that the ones you have the lines are very spaced out, also they don't seem to be very raised.
  19. Great work Jim, looks awesome
  20. Definitely a reflection, a better image here :
  21. I would be careful using paint thinner on ABS plastic, it can melt
  22. Hello and welcome aboard
  23. Better photo from the pinball game, can see now the trooper has definitely got the claw weapon
  24. I had missed that, appears the image is rotated too so should be on the right side, II O reversed as is the TD black end cap
