  1. Congratulations trooper and welcome to the ranks
  2. Could be you need a minimum post count before you can post in that section (some sections it is 5 posts), or you may need to request a 501st access upgrade first.
  3. An issue I used to encounter previously has now seemed to been fixed, having several forum pages open I found if I edited a post and it was not the last page I had opened, when I saved the changes it wouldn't accept them, I would have to refresh that page first and then make the changes and then save. I've tried this a couple of times this morning and doesn't seem to be an issue, here's hoping it stays that way
  4. Looking forward to seeing those BBB photos soon
  5. I like using painters tape to hold the pieces together to check for figment before removing all of the return edges. Some you may need to help keep them in place so they don’t flop around. If you are aiming for eib and centurion then definitely get rid of the return edges on the bottom of your forearms
  6. Congratulations trooper, a great read
  7. Nice work, looking forward to the progress
  8. All seems good here, thanks again Eric
  9. Nice painting on those ab buttons. With putting holes in elastic I apply a little E6000 before assembling, helps stop stretching around the holes
  10. Correct, even command staff are having issues, things are being looked into and hopefully be back to normal service soon.
  11. Congratulations trooper and welcome to the ranks
  12. Scrap ABS or sign plastic can definitely help reinforce thin areas, just make sure you rough both areas before applying glue to help the, hold. Depending on what are you may also need a little heat to help form the new pieces to sit it better Looking forward to the progress.
  13. Hot water bath is a lot more gentle than a heat gun, sure you can use one but you do need some practice before hand, ABS goes from pliable to molten mess in the blink of an eye
  14. Oh shucks, oh well back under the stairs I go
  15. Can’t access staff areas, newsletter, announcements etc
  16. Looking great, nice work, looking forward to the progress pics when you are able.
  17. Roger that, thanks for the hard work guys
  18. Doesn’t say colour but if you read the holster requirement it says black leather and when you go to the straps it just says leather. Perhaps it could be clarified but the reference image still shows natural leather colour. You may find that the inside of his straps are natural leather so he could cut and turn around.
  19. The public do like a “mini me” trooper and she looks great, well done
  20. Great work, coming along nicely. It can be hard to stop work when you are on a roll
  21. Looking good, nice work
  22. Head to the Pathfinders forum http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?act=home, they are the guru’s for Shoretroopers
