  1. With the elastic you will find there are two types, one is a lot thicker and stronger so some times you may have to double over the thinner elastic to give you the extra strength. It's a time consuming job but gotta be done
  2. This was really just for my own curiosity, comparison of Han and Luke's holster attachments. So guess we need both But seriously though I guess if you are within this range you should be good to go
  3. You will still need a cod rivet A split (bifurcated) or single cap rivet is present on the lower tab (cod area) of the abdomen armor
  4. After updating the image yesterday I thought I'd just go check any difference between the Hero positions with Han and Luke this morning and yes both are differently placed, Han's is further back and short straps and Luke is close to belt with longer straps, may have to update the image yet again with optional positioning for Hero
  5. Nice find, although fabric gaskets are acceptable for basic and L2 approval. I don't have the game but be interesting to see any other differences.
  6. I actually fitted snaps and strapping before painting, this was for two reasons, one to make sure I didn't scratch paint afterwards fitting the strapping and the other so I could hang the armor up for painting, I have a set of snaps with elastic and wire added to them for painting purposes
  7. It's all too hard, I just won't bother attaching one
  8. Good luck, hope you hear back soon, nothing worse than waiting and stalking your inbox. For EIB/Centurion Black lines on helmet are a little large in places but that's really up to the DO's to call You could trim a little more off you ab plates (mainly smaller one) Trim a little off your TD clips so your TD can come down more. Also watch the gaps at the top of the rear of your calves, perhaps a piece of ABS behind glued on one side. You have a really nice build and I don't think you will have too many problems. Good luck with approval
  9. Nice work trooper, nothing glaring I can see that would hold you up for basic approval
  10. You can find a list of garrisons here, normally you can sign up on their forum and introduce yourself, most have a recruit area https://www.501st.com/members/displayUnits.php
  11. Hello and welcome aboard, you have a little reading in front of you, head to the Getting Started section, will get you well on your way, good luck
  12. Congratulations and welcome to Centurion trooper
  13. I don't think this guy got the memo Bit late to this conversation but we should note that the Hero version should stay at @ 2cm But then if we start looking into the lengths of the holster straps the majority are longer than 2.5cm 1" so should that measurement be also changed? Only one trooper below has @ 2.5cm
  14. When adding snaps inside just make sure you remove any paint and rough the area with some coarse sandpaper, will help adhere more. Looking good
  15. Looking forward to seeing those BBB photos soon
  16. You will find most epoxy and quick drying glues will pop off with any flex, I find using E6000 on areas that flex is the best.
  17. Nice work trooper, a couple of things you may want to address before the DO's go over your application, these are suggestions. TD caps are too narrow, also clips and screws/bolts are not accurate. Control panel corners should not be rounded. You have different gaps between your shoulder bells, try bringing your right inwards at the top. You could also reduce the gap between your biceps and forearms. Belt could come upwards Any gap between the abdomen and kidney armor is no more than 1/2" (12.5mm) wide Also the height of the Ab and kidney should match Some of your black lines are a little wide You have a little excess paint on your gums: Frown is painted gray and does not leave the teeth area. There is still some return edge on the forearms Looks like you are missing a cod rivet Ab button paint is a little large, the plates could be trimmed a little more, also the plates are not rounded on the corners Ideal placement for thigh ammo strip rivets Could you also post up an image of your ab/kidney side rivets and also the single top ab rivet.
