Congratulations and welcome to the ranks Yes the forum only allows a small amount of images, most use a free online image host, I've just started using Flickr as Imgur is no longer viewable by those in the UK You can request higher forum access here

TK-38421 ROTJ TK reporting for duty!
gmrhodes13 replied to JSmails's topic in Newly Approved Members - Sound Off!
Welcome to the ranks trooper, a lengthy build for sure but at least you have finally completed it -
Hello and welcome. Some great info here Good luck with the research and build

You won't find a better set of files, Bryon also does files of the Rogue One blaster, you should have no issues, here's all his models https://www.printables.com/@TK14082_234773 Just remember no print lines should be showing once painted. 3D printed components must have no visible print lines and must be smooth for a realistic appearance When posting photos firstly try to use the "direct link" option as it will have the file extension .jpg, .jpeg, .png .gif etc, etc. Also FYI folks in the UK can't view Imgur images, I've changed to Flickr for that reason but entirely up to you.

Different make of armor so I would suggest yes, but it's really up to your GML, wouldn't hurt to reach out and confirm. -

gmrhodes13 replied to cedron's topic in ANH Build Threads
Welcome Jim, you will find some build info and hints in this thread We also have a pre approval thread you may want to post in once your build is complete, before you contact your GML, good way to iron out any issues before applying for approval. Good luck with the build -

The problem with a lot of boots is they are not tall enough which causes them to slip out from under the shins when moving, they look short to me. Gallery for boots is here for comparison

Looking forward to seeing your progress, there's more than a few over 50's and above troopers around

I've personally not seen either up close but you can find plenty of Walt builds on the forum, not so much of DN. Things to consider, price, accuracy, location, shipping, currency conversion and weight times. Great thread here on some of the acronyms used on this forum -
3D Printed Rogue One TK Build Thread
gmrhodes13 replied to Platinum Lex's topic in Rogue One Build Threads
I have adhesive foam in some places on my FOTK and Sith armor, it stops a lot rubbing but sometimes it can chip and scratch. I guess you could paint it all with a final coat or two of 2K paint, this is a two part mix gets activated by a button then you have 24 hours to use it before it goes off. It's pricy but very strong, I used it on my Din Djarin build, but again you can still get the odd chip and scratch. -

"Troopers helping troopers", don't be afraid to ask questions, there are no silly questions only silly mistakes from not asking Research is the key, we also have detachment levels, EIB and Centurion, these can be achieved in stages after base approval from you GML (Garison Membership Liaison) and it is easy to build to those levels of detail from the get go, more info here https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/113-advanced-tactics/ Also when looking through that area you may notice abbreviated maker name in the titles of the threads, this will give you a good idea of the different makes of armor and how they look worn correctly. You may want to also start a build thread once you have armor in hand, you can post one here https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/80-anh-build-threads/ Looking forward to watching your journey -

Are you looking via mobile, if so change to Desktop site, you need full screen version to see it, doesn't work in condensed mobile. -

3D Printed Rogue One TK Build Thread
gmrhodes13 replied to Platinum Lex's topic in Rogue One Build Threads
You may notice in a few scenes that the armor does and has hit in places, it is quite restrictive compared to a vac formed armor. Some are reference of remnant troopers but similar to standard ROTK Trooper on left and middle have trimmed belts Some have areas of the belt trimmed for more movement Missing thigh piece It's intriguing the different sizing with 3D files, when you think that regular vac formed armor and helmets are just "one size fits all" (depending on armor make of course) -
You will get more replies if you post your images directly to your thread as it's a bit of a pain to keep going back and forth, most of us use free online image hosts, I've recently started using Flickr https://flickr.com/ upload your images there then comply and paste the links into your post. You could also post in the Pre Approval Area https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/193-request-tk-pre-approval/ Or start a build thread https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/80-anh-build-threads/
