Just watch your shoulder straps on the rear, addition of elastic can help them stay in place You may have to add some side shims as well L2 and upwards OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Any gap between the abdomen and kidney armor is no more than 1/2" (12.5mm) wide. Any shims used to achieve this effect are of a similar material and color as the abdomen and kidney armor. Shims fit flush and seams are allowed. A few threads which may be of help

Matt and James's TK build thread - AM 4.5
gmrhodes13 replied to Sawanator's topic in ANH Build Threads
Imperial boots only opens up at certain times each month, you can still navigate their site. Next wave 2nd Sept - 9th Sept https://www.imperialboots.com/product/stormtrooper_tk_boots/ You could try to find some black chelsea boots of the correct size then whiten as many have done in the past. -
Looking good

Looking again at the wrap around velcro on the rear plastic belt, this is what I think I am seeing in the previous noted image. They must want the armor to look beaten up, the end of the front belt section has a corner broken away, but you can see this would cover the rear belt velcro. The partial amount of velcro may not be enough to hold the belt with large amount of movement and thigh hits, hence why wee see so many with gaffa tape in that spot. Also seen here So I would have thought the front belt overlaps the back belt BUT then I found this front image, this belt butts up next to the other with no overlap. Even the two other pictures showing a small overlap still wouldn't cover all of that velcro. And again an overlap of belt from front to back, this time with no velcro on the bottom of the rear belt section, perhaps thy did away with it. Once again this just means we will have to decide on a standardised look Celebration display trooper's belt overlaps front over back, but again no velcro Appears the common look is front overlap back belt. In this image trooper on the left has glue residue where the belt has moved. On the right we see a trooper who must be a little wider than the standard sized troopers, his backplate doesn't cover the ab/back so as this is wider we also see the two buckles from the harness Incinerator trooper belt butts together. So I guess it comes down to a troopers size as to if the belt would overlap or butt together, may have to allow both options. And another image of the trooper missing half the top of his inner thigh. -
Defnitely want to use a glue that will hold, I used JB weld very much like Devcon and could be sanded made things a little easier. With any application of glue make sure you rough up both surfaces before applying glue as it will help the glue to grip to.

One thing is for sure, it can't work very well with the amount of troopers that can be seen with gaffa tape holding the belts shut, I've also noticed it on forearms. Looking through some of the behind the scenes videos and we can see a remnant trooper from a later episode with both drop boxes so it only makes sense that they are meant to be there. They do slip behind the thighs quite often too. Also looks like the thigh garter could be attached to the back of the belt, it over the butt plate Well the majority of the time anyway Maybe they've not heard of E6000 -

I thought it could be specific troopers didn't have the grey insert, like orange pauldron trooper, mortar trooper, smashed helmet trooper or even those with "stunt" roles But then I spotted this regular TK, appears there was a mix of those with or without the grey One thing which is for certain though, I'm over seeing open and misaligned armor pieces But I'm straying away from discussing the remnant troopers -

This is just one of those times they flip a scene as we have seen on other occasions Fixed Here he is just prior to being smashed, note his legs and the rocks behind Another example of flipped scene, note the TD The grey seems consistent throughout the Mandalorian until these particular troopers. No doubt new armor/pieces would have been needed for Obi-Wan and the endcap detail may have been missed or even dropped. Season 2 episode 6 One from season 2 episode 8 still grey I've stayed away from referencing the Obi-Wan troopers at this stage as there are a few differences, even the weathering is not the same as remnant TK's Here's another oddity, no light or mount on this E-11, again this may have been new pieces needed for this episode and perhaps someone forgot to add the mount and light. Another here -
From how they have named the lenses I would think they are to be used as a mold for vac forming. It's quite easy to make two square frames to hold a piece of plastic, heat then pull over a mold, pretty basic vac forming but it does work. A little like what Jeff has done

You could try Jeff

I find rubber gloves comfortable, especially when wearing the inner gloves, they soak up any sweat and I change them over after having a break so your hands feel fresh. At the end of the day it's what every makes you feel comfortable and of course what ever the troops is, canon troops should be rubber gloves

Unfortunately both have costumes on at present, when i next change them over I'll grab some pics

Doesn't come up in a forum search or the R1 resources thread I'm no R1 expert by any means but appears to have a lot of details which aren't offered on a lot of other 3D prints, even the use of rubber trim for the brow. Here is their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Printarmory Their regular Stormtrooper helmet looks like it could do with a lot of modifications but reading some of the comments appears they do try to correct anything pointed out to them.

It's a great feeling when you first put on that armor. Nice work, time to work the kinks out and perhaps some less casual footwear

By the looks of it so far there could very well only be only 5 remanent troopers max, I haven't seen more than 5 in any one scene, I could be wrong I've only started researching recently and one is not a definite in series 2, so it could be difficult to get a standardized look, BUT if we look earlier in the series most appear to have all their drop boxes, this can change in the same scene too as I've found. Definitely a lot of variations of drop boxes, 2, 1, none, 1 on opposite sides so I think that would need to be an option. -
I have two PVC mannequins with the adjustable elbows and these are a joy to use and rotate armor with.
