  1. Hopefully the tube stripes are ok, as trying to redo them at this point would be a nightmare (paint over paint and the weathering). I would never be able to get it right short of redoing the entire lid. The tube stripes do vary a bit even from tube to tube in ANH so I am crossing my fingers on this being aprovable for EIB. As for the brow, there are a few low brow stunts out there, but the lid resting brow trim is lower than the lid on brow trim as you see in the pictures. The way the khaki helm flexes when its on and my head is pushing on the top, and the ear snaps are snapped, the brow actually moves up a bit. When it is resting on a surface it goes back down. I prefer low brow troopers as I think they look more serious and mean, so I did want this one to be lower than say the move along sand trooper who has a very high brow.

  8. Grats! You are only the third ROTJ in the world and as I am a male, and the first one was a male I have to guess the first female!
  9. Generally I think the stripes are about a pencil width down, but as they were stickers and were slapped together, I have a hard time believing they were all that way, and as the picture Trooper master posted shows there was at least one that was pretty low. and one of these guys has a pretty low set as well check the guy by the gray officer: Good luck!
  10. I got the rotj eib I still have anh heri stunt and esb to go but gues multiplez from the same person dont count?
  11. Meh do what i did...make em all.... I actually prefer the low brow hero. But then i make my stunts lower brow as well.
  12. Wow rotj gettin some love lately! I take full credit! Jes kiddin! Great work!
  13. Now that I am on a real computer let me say Well done! It fits you MUCH NICER than it does me! You should be an easy EIB! Well Done!
  14. Looks good! The belt material may be a little wide for centurion but that may be that i am on a phone. Love ro see rotj and cfo getting some love!
  15. I love getting lids in the mail! Should be a lot of fun.
  16. Insane skill there! Love the fact you have to reload.
  17. If only I had a tenth of the creativity...
  18. amazing. I have too much other stuff on the books right now for this, but I just wanted to stop by and say well done! It looks like my commando stepped of the screen...
  19. Thanks all! I of course was lax in my first response in not thanking Mark at CFO for the great armor, and all the help he was in getting extra parts and such! "The fact is that this ROTJ is far better looking than most of the more common ANH, even some of the centurions." Thanks for the kind words Mathias That really made my day Most see ROTJ like this I think: But like the runt of a litter you got to give them some love too.. Thanks again!

  21. Not at all mad about 69! I think its awesome luck
  22. Awesome! First cfo second rotj centurion? Thanks for everyone Mathias especially for working behind the scenes to help me get this rig right. Also thanks to ricks research and build thread that made this all possible. Thanks to the wife who put up with numerous fittings and white plastic bits all over the house and multiple photo shoots super happy here! Edit: Number 69? Lol!
  23. you are correct see this paraphrase from my thread in the ROTJ section for an explanation. It was intentional on my part. The problem I have is that as I am larger than traditional ROTJ trooper actors from the 80's the legs trimmed normally will not fit. I got an untrimmed set of legs, and because these are completely uncleaned up cast From original parts the line where the outside of the legs were trimmed and glued over the inner legs is still there and very pronounced. It is sort of like a second raised ridge about 10 MM past the first ridge. Since I needed about 25mm at least of material there I was a in a bit of a bind. I tried using a heat sealing Iron to flatten the second ridge, but unfortunately it did not really work, it left an obvious line still. The inner legs actually had alot more material on them before they started to curve from the molding process though. I decided to lap the inner over the outer, which is non traditional I know, but looks much better than the other way round. It is not like ANH armor that you can trim to size and then pop a coverstrip over, since the legs are ROTj and have a molded seam, and need to be overlaped, you only have so much to work with. As the CRLs do not specifically state that the outer must be lapped over the inner or at this time on the main page or even overlaped at all (though I know the new regs say you have to use overlap construction) this should not technically be a deal breaker. Mathias has said my legs (the arms are actually lapped traditionally) are fine even if they are non traditional. Thanks for all the imput I have been getting both positive and negative it all helps us build better TKs!
  24. The thing I will add is the bicep hook may be a bit shallow. I made a hook for my RS that was about that size and I found in wearing it the bicep armor easily poped off the hook. By making it a little deeper (say as deep as the elastic is wide at least) the bicep will stay hooked better. That could just be I am a tall guy and the biceps have alot of downward force on them sice I have them accurately attatched to the forearms. My TM armor had a deeper hook on it as well and held better than my first attempt on the RS. Your armor looks great and your lid work impressive, I always screw the ears up....
