  1. I second that. consider doing a Sky Trooper in the future? Combines the worlds of Mando, TK, and Tie. You’d work with fiber, bondo, putty, PC7, and/or abs paste, and lots of SANDING, priming, painting, and some prop-building too. I just wanted to throw it out there.
  2. Hi Lynn, just happened to see this 3D printed rifle on Etsy. Perhaps send the seller a question about it’s weight and other features to see whether it meets some L1/L2/L3 criteria, at a minimum, as part of your research? ----------
  3. Pretty slick stuff!
  4. Hi Chris and welcome! If indeed you wish to build armor, take a look at the various armor and important considerations involved in choosing at this link: If you don't want to build your own armor, at least, you'll have some minimal knowledge at purchasing stuff that people have made and are willing to sell. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/41-imperial-commissary-px/ But the only real knowledge that one could possibly gain is when the armor is built by you. If you choose this route, there are lots of folks who will assist you. In my opinion, it's worth the money you'd be spending on any armor made by someone else. Hope this helps.
  5. or some comparable fabric paint. I used this type of paint for a rubber clone belt years ago.
  6. Pre-congratulations on your L1 approval! Onto L2 and beyond!
  7. One can find some great stuff in the junk box/bucket at these hardware stores. It’s like finding gold! I dig it!
  8. “How do i get out of this chicken s- -t outfit”! - pvt Hudson Or how about Starship Troopers? “I have only one rule. Everybody fights, no one quits. If you don’t do your job, I’ll kill you myself! Welcome to the roughnecks!” - Rasczak
  9. Welcome! FOTK looks great! consider EIB? https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/95-expert-infantryman-program/
  10. TM produces some of the finest armor. ABS is so shiny white! Terrific photos!
  11. Great job trooper! Go do some good!
  12. Hard-core build. Awesome progress and pictures!
  13. Commencing flight to support the ground operations!

  14. also, here's a video tutorial TK1636. It's ANH building, but some of the "how to" type stuff is transferrable to ROTJ building. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCeDunMes3e0wQn8_ns-ma4g hope it helps.
  15. In case more folks ask about color differences between TM and CFO, I'm posting some CFO pics here. Here are some CFO pics early during my build. I would characterize the color as "off" white or even a "soft vanilla" white. (I ended up painting my armor glossy white anyways to match my sky's chestbox and jetpack.) " Here is an ROTJ CFO build thread with large pics for reference. Like mine, they capture the "off" or "soft vanilla" whiteness.
  16. Check out the ROTJ CRL. Gives very detailed information about armor building and the different levels of accuracy you might wish to take it. http://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TK_rotj look at ROTJ WIP threads to visually see how others did theirs. looking at your forearm, you’ll have to cut some more, especially the return edges, until you can comfortably start bending your arms. In the EIB and Centurion request threads, look for ROTJ candidates. There should be good close-ups of the strappings and armor.
