  1. In addition to the good things already said, if you don’t have any tools on hand, and you’re trying to smooth out a common straight edge, try taping some sandpaper (at the corners) on a hard, smooth floor surface and gently “scrub” the plastic over it until the rough edges go away.
  2. These 3D builds are incredibly interesting to watch. Thanks for posting this build.
  3. Trooperbay.com also sells a one-piece undersuit. https://trooperbay.com/costuming-accessories/headgear-neck-seals/star-wars-stormtrooper-sandtrooper-black-undersuit
  4. Based on the background of that pic, looks like you and a fellow trooper are protecting an imperial power infrastructure facility. Outstanding trooper, keep it up!
  5. Enjoy your build Kirill! plenty of ANH build threads for reference! https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/80-anh-build-threads/
  6. KW Look in the continuous items for sales threads at CTD.
  7. Welcome Yu! Lots of folks to assist, so ask away!
  8. It’s not this Detachment (currently) where this costume would fall under. Here’s the procedure. Look for the unit you might fall under based on your geographical location.. Look here. https://www.501st.com/members/displayUnits.php Then identify the Garrison Membership Liaison (GML). Or, If you live in an area where there is an Outpost and no GML, identify the Commanding Officer (CO). Contact that person via email. that person will communicate with Legion Membership Officers, who will assist the GML or Outpost CO, in identifying this costume and which Detachment it might fall under. hope that helps.
  9. I would think it’s a matter of personal preference. There are are some vendors and makers who make fine, Centurion level stuff. For those who have neither enough time, money, or skill, I would think buying a prefabricated kit of straps would be an optimal solution.
  10. Based on this side pic: http://i.imgur.com/7caBXA6 The sniper knee looks sorta angled “inward”, which may be causing the issue. I think it should be adjusted and tilted out a bit.
  11. Try to cut and/or assemble more mid/lower pieces (taped of course) before gluing to see if it looks and feels right. Have a pencil ready to make light marks if more cutting is necessary. If it comes to it, it’s not entirely impossible to undo the gluing if adjustments are needed. be sure to look at build reference pics here to see how other TKs look and have done theirs: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/113-advanced-tactics/
  12. Hi A. j.., if they don’t chime in, contact the L2/L3 judges to be sure. @justjoseph63 or @ukswrath. They’d be happy to help.
  13. This gentleman over at Japan Garrison is doing amazing work on his Shoretrooper if you’re in need of a 3D WIP reference. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/43994-rogue-one-shoretrooper-droid-built/
  14. Beautiful armor, nicely built. Immaculate, detailed paint job on the bucket. Rubber lining application is excellent around the chest, backplate, ab, and posterior sections. the only thing that jumped out at me were the rivets on the straps (frontal). Don’t think they’re allowed for level 2. I’ll take another look later, but at the present moment, great ROTJ stormtrooper!
  15. Welcome back Will! I’m sorta an old-timer myself and got back into active service this past spring. Post pics in the pre-approval area and staff would be more than happy to evaluate your FX armor/updated bucket completely. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/191-tk-pre-approvals/
