  1. The dot is on all of them. I think its likely from a logo being removed, but thats just a guess. I want to go as accurate as i can for the "move along" trooper, so thats why im adding that Dot. it was something Rolf pointed out as i never noticed it before either, and like going the extra mile for accuracy^_^
  2. Hey Bud, Ok on the screen used pauldron the part that wraps around the neck is actually attached with leather rivets, which look like silver dots. You can see it in this screen cap. youd basically have to trim that part off neatly and close to the pauldron itself and re-attach it with the rivets. Just be sure you have enough play with the size so you dont end up choking yourself lol The other mod is something Rolf on the MEPD brought to my attention, there is a dark circle on the top of the orange part. You can see it here: i am going to add this to mine. I Had bought a trooper1 pauldron and his has the neck part attached accurately so i only need to do the "dot" mod. If i had found shoulderPauldrons.com 2 days earlier i would have got that one due to the price. But dont get me wrong, the trooper1 pauldron is amazing and very well made! hope this helps! -Lou
  3. His are nice for the price! there are a couple of inaccuracies, but they are an easy mod if you so desire to be that much more screen accurate. Let me know if ya wanna know what you'd need to do. id gladly help out. EDIT: for typo
  4. How awesome, both responses from 2 of the best armor makers hehe Thanks Guys! Those were my first instincts but i just wanted to make sure before i did something stupid like glue the sniper plate on the wrong leg LOL My AP has the mirrored parts so i wasnt sure. Thanks guys! now............ONWARD!
  5. Ok, before i put something together backwards lol...how do i know which calf piece is which. Each calf bottom has a short and long side, the part that covers the ankle basically. Is the larger/longer side the inside or the outside of the leg? Am i making any sense? lol Also the biceps are different..is the more square cut one the left or right bicep? Just want to be sure!
  6. Got some trimming done the last coupleof days. I wont bore you with pics of me with goggles and a dremel though lol. Once they are all trimmed, ill get some more pics up, and document my strapping system. It will be mostly the same as my AP set up, with some improvements ive learned from trooping the AP for a while.
  7. Congrats Terry! Terry, from this post by Vicsouders, it seems your looking for a Stewie Vader bobblehead? I have one, the full helmet version, i was going to throw on e-bay. Its in like new shape, but i dont have the box anymore. if you want it, shoot me a PM, and we can discuss a price.

  13. Well said Dan. I have not personally delt with you as of yet, but ive heard only good things about you prior to this thread, but you seem like a good guy to me, and i will probably order from you at some point. (TIE pilot will happen in the distant future) Being a youngling prop maker myself, i agree the relationship with the customer is key. i update threads and e-mail all my customers in a timely manner as well. Alas this thread is about Matt, who i never had any dealings with, but have heard ALOT of issues with him. Its a shame really, He truly could have been the "Trooper Expert" but i dont think being rude, or not sending product was the way to do it. Too bad
